  • Beautiful Unit

"We had arranged for all our kids and grandkids to get together and the condo worked great for us. We could spend time together but it was large enough that we were not on top of each other. The little ones could take naps without being disturbed as well."

  • Fantastic property in a great location!

"This house was great for our family ski trip! It held our group of 10 adults and 2 kids perfectly and there was more than enough room for everyone. The only down side was the hot tub was not working and the oven had a habit of turning itself off. If you're looking for a house close to the DMR with plenty of space, this is the place for you. We made many wonderful and lasting memories here, thank you for sharing your home!"

  • Great Isolated Cabin Just Outside Purgatory Resort

"We booked this cabin for a 4 day ski/snowboarding trip up to Purgatory Resort. Arrival was simple: directions were accurate and the short, private road off of the 505 was nicely plowed. The cabin was nothing short of fantastic, so much so that a couple of friends that bailed at the last minute ended up coming up a day later. I didn't catch that WiFi/Internet wasn't provided but it didn't matter much. Between the fire in the living room, theater room with TV, the surrounding winter wonderland and the hot tub we actually enjoyed being in more or less internet seclusion (Note: T-Mobile and Sprint didn't seem to have any coverage, Verizon had full LTE and voice). The cabin was fully stocked for those prepared to make their own food in the wonderful kitchen. Every bathroom had a nice assortment of advil to tooth paste and the washer and dryer down stairs was rather handy at quickly turning our clothes to be ready for more snow the next day. Pay attention as local food choices are a bit limited past 7 PM leaving you with the Sow's Ear (a bit higner end, reservations required) or a local Pizza Joint called the Olde Schoolhouse Cafe which cares not for hospitality but right up the alley if you're in the mood for decent pizza and a few beers at a local dive. Stop in Durango to stock up before heading up to the cabin to save yourself 40 or so miles and remember that Needles Country Store is a nearby shop for quick essentials. For the 4 of us that crashed at this cabin we couldn't be happier. I've stayed in Durango and Purgatory Resort a few times and this was hands down the best for a group of people. The only downside is that you have to take your shoes off when entering, but honestly... the charm and easy access to mud rooms at each entrance made this a breeze. Just bring some slippers as the stairs are a bit slick!"
