  • A great place to stay in Durango

"My family and I stayed here for 4 days for a spring skiing vacation. The house is located about 25 minutes from Purgatory and about 10-15 minutes from Durango. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything from a pancake gridle to a crockpot. The couches and fireplace in the living room make it a comfortable place to relax after a day on the slopes. We didn't use the back patio, but there is one with a BBQ and an outdoor dining set. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The bathrooms are stocked with big, fluffy towels, and the extras like additional rolls of toilet paper, soap, and things like that were appreciated so we didn't have to make a trip to the store after our long drive to Durango. John was easy to deal with and answered all my questions. There was some confusion about the pricing when I made the reservation, but he worked with me to quickly fix the problem. I would highly recommend this rental. We hope to come back in the future."

  • Wonderful location, great place

"We stayed for 3 nights in early August and it seemed like we had the place to ourselves. The private balcony with great views, watching the hummingbirds, enjoying the sunrises, and just relaxing. The condo is as described, plenty of room for 2 people, well stocked for cooking if you want or just a short drive to Durango. Check in was simple and while we did not use the shared facilities they looked in good condition. We plan on returning when we visit the area again."

  • Great Condo -Comfy, Affordable, Clean and ski in!

"We had a great stay in this condo. Very convinient location if you would like to wake up and be on the mountain right away, or leave with the last lift chair and have no struggle getting home! In addition, for a right price you have convinience of a separate bedroom - living rooom accomodations. Hovewer, there is no glamor in the place, it's very well kept up, clean, and offers everything you may need for your stay. Lodge and restaurant are a short walk, so are the lifts, and if there is enough snow you can ski in from Lower Hades. Owener is very responsive to any inquiries and accomodating in case needed. Thank you Matt! You made our vacation worry free and memorable."

  • Cute cabin with gorgeous views

"Our family of five spent five nights in this comfortable cabin outside of Durango. We loved the views of the pond and sighted the local beaver several evenings. We really enjoyed spending time in Durango--such a cute town! We had a couple of great meals at the Brew Pub and the fun Bar D Chuckwagon. We took a day trip to Mesa Verde (about an hour's drive) and loved the ranger-led tour of Cliff Palace. We took several short, beautiful hikes near the property. We loved just hanging out at the cabin in the evenings, playing games and watching movies. We were awe-struck by the stars at night--our kids saw a prolonged meteor shower for the first time, which was so fun and exciting. Silverton and Ouray were stops on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we spent the remainder of our Colorado adventure. This cabin was well-equipped and located near lots of great sights and activities. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the Durango area!"
