  • Beautiful home!

"We loved staying here. You are close enough to town and all the sights but still away from the hustle and bustle. The view was beautiful and we loved spending time on the patio. Plenty of space for our 2 German Shepherds to run and a kennel to leave them the day we rode the train to Siverton. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room. We loved all the little seating areas where we could relax and read during down times. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Durango area."

  • Wonderful!

"We could not believe how lucky we were when we drove up and saw this beautiful cabin tucked away at the end of the road. The wrap around deck made for spectacular views from every angle . The cabin was fully furnished with everything you could need to make yourself at home. We had breakfast and dinner every night at the cabin and it was just wonderful having my whole family sitting around the table enjoying and talking during our meals. I was able to take my 2 mini-schnauzers Todd and Charlie who enjoyed the crisp walks in the mornings, napping in the sunshine on the deck during the day to rest and sleeping in front of the fireplace in the evenings. We all enjoyed sitting in the relaxing hot tub in the evening after a day of sight seeing and hiking. It was also fun to see all the wildlife around, the wild turkeys, elk, chipmunks, squirrels. The cabin was 30 minutes from Durango so we were able to go into town and enjoy the many shops and local eateries. Be sure to stop by Honeyville and pick up some homemade honey, candy, jams and wine totally worth it. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, well maintained property that is pet friendly to enjoy with your family. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!"

  • convenient location, stayed for soccer tournament

"The studio was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great near the rec center. The main house was rented out to a large group attending the same soccer tournament we were, the noise of their group carried over to our studio. This was ok for us since we also had children, but would have been troublesome if we were looking for a quiet weekend."
