  • Wonderful wonderful wonderful

"Don't miss an opportunity to get away from the busy downtown area to relax by the river. The cabin is rustic and full of character with well appointed kitchen space for cooking your favorite meal. There is no place like Rio Cabana with plenty of fish and wildlife to keep you on your toes! Thank you Suzanne for having Rufus and me back for another adventure."

  • Great Trip

"We had a family of 19, with three of them being under the age of 4. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we never felt like we were on top of each other. We were there during the winter and it was so close to the slopes. It is a good 30 minutes to town, but we were there for skiing so it didn't really matter. The young ones went on The Polar Express and had a magical time. We enjoyed this property very much!"

  • A Great, Homey Place To Gather

"Doug and Liz have created a wonderful, homey environment for people to gather together. There were five siblings and their spouses that came from the midwest and the west coast to spend time together and found themselves in a spacious and comfortable place. Doug & Liz provded not only the building but many amenities that helped us settle in quickly. We had plenty of casual seating indoors and out for spending time together. We would definitely consider staying here again should we plan to gather in the future. The location lends itself to visiting the many attractions of the Durango area."

  • Just Perfect on Rainbow road

"We were immediately impressed with the beauty of and the care for this idyllic property. The place accommodated a family of 6 and 2 spirited canines comfortably. Bob and Chris's hospitality was unparalleled and the house was well stocked for the chef even down to sharp knives! The " back road" into Durango on the 213 is scenic and easy with less traffic. Sadly, the fireflies had moved on. Thanks for sharing these delightful accommodations."
