  • Exceptional Stay

"Our stay at this home in Durango was so wonderful! The house was very impressive and spacious. The amenities were very comfortable, with privacy for every bedroom and bath. The kitchen was huge and stocked with everything we needed. There were so many places to spread out in; the deck was a comfortable place to enjoy the views. The only disappointment was the quality of the water coming from the tap- bottled water was a necessity for drinking and cooking. Perhaps a note to that effect to let others know to buy bottled water before arriving at the house would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, private getaway in Durango. We had a wonderful stay!"

  • Wonderful!

"We could not believe how lucky we were when we drove up and saw this beautiful cabin tucked away at the end of the road. The wrap around deck made for spectacular views from every angle . The cabin was fully furnished with everything you could need to make yourself at home. We had breakfast and dinner every night at the cabin and it was just wonderful having my whole family sitting around the table enjoying and talking during our meals. I was able to take my 2 mini-schnauzers Todd and Charlie who enjoyed the crisp walks in the mornings, napping in the sunshine on the deck during the day to rest and sleeping in front of the fireplace in the evenings. We all enjoyed sitting in the relaxing hot tub in the evening after a day of sight seeing and hiking. It was also fun to see all the wildlife around, the wild turkeys, elk, chipmunks, squirrels. The cabin was 30 minutes from Durango so we were able to go into town and enjoy the many shops and local eateries. Be sure to stop by Honeyville and pick up some homemade honey, candy, jams and wine totally worth it. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, well maintained property that is pet friendly to enjoy with your family. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!"

  • Beautiful home, easy walk to downtown Durango

"Nice home, would definitely use it again. The only thing that was a negative was parking is very limited when you get past 2 cars. Everything else was great!"
