  • The Perfect Colorado Vacation!

"If you want to have a true Colorado experience, then this gorgeous log cabin should be on your list. My family LOVED staying here during the ski season and can’t wait to come back during the summer. First of all, the owner has decorated the cabin so picture perfect but also so homey it makes you never want to leave. The kitchen has everything you need to cook gourmet meals and room for a large family gathering both inside and out. The beds were so comfy with charming quilts and western touches. At night we used the Wi-Fi and watched some TV, but most of the time we hung out on the deck around a fire pit watching the sunset over the Castle Rock cliffs and stargazing. It was cold but with the fire pit it was nice and cozy. One of the best advantages of this cabin is the location. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the ski slopes and most of that was finding a parking space. The cabin is so close to Purgatory Ski Resort and only 25 minutes to Durango. There were restaurants close to the cabin so we could either drive to town or eat somewhere on the mountain which we did a lot. There is a small lake and stream in the subdivision so you can fish there if you want or drive a very short distance to fish in Electra or Haviland Lake or a nearby stream. This darling log cabin has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to hiking, biking, fishing, skiing etc. and still be so close to a city. IMHO, if you are visiting Colorado then stay in a log cabin in the mountains. You will be happy you stayed here!"

"Best location for skiing. Condo was larger than expected with high-end features. Two huge bathrooms and large bedrooms with comfy beds. Kitchen was stocked with basic necessities. Garage parking was a plus. Easy to work with management. Heat was a little warm so we cracked a door open and it felt fine."

  • Wonderful!

"The home was much bigger than I expected! We felt like we were far way from it all, but were just a short drive to both downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort. The booking process was fast and easy. The home was comfortable and well maintained. And my damage deposit was returned without hassle. Be sure to try the blueberry cheese danish from PJ's Gourmet Market. Combined with a bold cup of coffee and early morning back porch sitting while the mountain dew rises, you'll never want the moment to end! Thank you Deborah for allowing my family of 4 and fur babies to stay in your lovely home. This made our cross country move much more enjoyable."
