  • Wonderful!

"We could not believe how lucky we were when we drove up and saw this beautiful cabin tucked away at the end of the road. The wrap around deck made for spectacular views from every angle . The cabin was fully furnished with everything you could need to make yourself at home. We had breakfast and dinner every night at the cabin and it was just wonderful having my whole family sitting around the table enjoying and talking during our meals. I was able to take my 2 mini-schnauzers Todd and Charlie who enjoyed the crisp walks in the mornings, napping in the sunshine on the deck during the day to rest and sleeping in front of the fireplace in the evenings. We all enjoyed sitting in the relaxing hot tub in the evening after a day of sight seeing and hiking. It was also fun to see all the wildlife around, the wild turkeys, elk, chipmunks, squirrels. The cabin was 30 minutes from Durango so we were able to go into town and enjoy the many shops and local eateries. Be sure to stop by Honeyville and pick up some homemade honey, candy, jams and wine totally worth it. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, well maintained property that is pet friendly to enjoy with your family. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!"

  • The Perfect Home for Gathering Family

"The Garden Home was the perfect place for us to headquarter as the groom's family. It's close to town so that while some family members are running errands in vehicles, others can walk uptown to run others or have fun. The house itself was ideal - the patio off the kitchen is a lovely private area for barbecues and entertaining; the kitchen is large enough to accommodate more than one cook, and the bedrooms/bathrooms were large and comfortable. When we go back to Durango for other family occasions, we will definitely stay in Holly's house! Marsha Chambers"

  • Great Cabin for Ski Vacation

"We rented this cabin for 2 families (8 of us total). It is a great place with plenty of room and fairly easy to get to even in the winter (provided you have at least an AWD vehicle). I highly recommend. The manager was very helpful and checked on us day of arrival and day of departure. Fantastic!"

  • Exceeded expectations!

"Our family could not have been more pleased with our stay at this cabin. Location was perfect because it was out far enough from town to feel secluded yet 5 minutes from a beautiful lake and 20 minutes from Durango. There were 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children in our group and it suited everyone! We bought our own groceries on the way in and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Any where you looked in any direction from the cabin you had breathtaking views and the temperatures were perfect! The property manager was great to work with, made booking easy and was so helpful with information about what the area provided. Our only complaint would be that we didn't spend enough time at the cabin because there were so many things we wanted to go do. We all enjoyed the hot tub and next time we all said we would like to just hang out at the cabin more. It was a treat in and of itself! I highly recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely book this exact cabin again!"
