  • JUST WONDERFUL

"Black Bear 102 is a beautiful condo where you can just exhale and relax. It is a clean, wonderfully kept property with attention to detail. We brought our pet who enjoyed the Purgatory Trail hike which is footsteps away from the condo. This is my second time here and I will most definitely be coming back as my family loves Durango. Coming from Denver, we most certainly did not care one bit about a little highway noise!!"

  • Relaxing Family Trip

"We loved this home, the owners have added nice, quality touches through out the home. All king beds had comfortable mattresses, definitely would recommend this home to anyone visiting Durango, especially because of the view you get in the living room! Beautiful home!"

  • Great Value!

"The condo is a great value, sits on a wonderful view, is well appointed and decorated, and has all of the kitchen tools and amenities one may need. The only downsides were that there were children in the condo upstairs, whose floor jets into this condo by about 50%. The condo's ceiling is their floor and there is a shared wall going up to the ceiling. The children were loud starting at 5:30am 2 of our 4 mornings. And loud pounding footsteps could also be heard. The 2nd improvement would be to the hot water pressure. The water was hot enough, just the flow is merely a trickle in the warm to hot positions. We would probably stay there again....especially without the upstairs neighbors."

  • Pine Point

"This cabin/chalet is tucked away in a most beautiful spot with views that are a 10. We arrived for a family ski trip and the home is literally 5 minutes from the slopes (Purgatory). There were six adults and with the apartment there was enough room for us. The wood burning fire box was more than adequate for heat and the wood was provided by the owner. The south facing wall of windows made for glorious morning views. We arrived right after a winter snow dump and four wheel drive is a must to get to the home which we had and it was not a problem. The driveway and pathways were shoveled for our arrival. This home is private and sits on a beautiful cliff and that is what you are paying for... well worth it in my opinion."
