"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this is a very nice condo, love the location- near the ski area but seems off by itself. We come here in the summer, not too many around us. The condo is well kept and clean. Beware the third bedroom, tiny and no window. The master is fabulous."

  • 7 days in durango

"Great property. The house was very nice, and clean. The large windows and over abundant porch and balcony space made us feel we were outside all of the time. actually we were out side and active most of the time - and the location of the property was perfect for all of our activities from horse back riding to rafting to fishing on various parts of the Animas, to enjoying the historic district. management was professional and easy to work with. Had a great time - and if ever back in the Durango area, will certainly stay at Rio Angels."

  • Great Family Vacation Condo

"This is our 3rd year our two families of 4 have stayed at Mark's home-away-from-home at Purgatory Lodge. This condo has everything you need and want. There is so much room here, the 4 adults and 4 pre-teen and teenage boys have plenty of space to spread out and never feel cramped. The kids sleep in the bunk beds so the 4th room is used as an extra space for toys, luggage or piling on the fold out bed and watching a movie (which rarely happens because there's so much to do!). The kitchen is stocked with all the staples and more. We cooked all our dinners and enjoyed gathering around the 8 seat table for dinner then games. There's is no need for AC in the unit as all the windows open and cool the condo down to the point it gets chilly- even in July! There's plenty to do at the condo- zipline, alpine slide, ropes course, hiking, renting bikes (you can take your bike on the ski lift and have a fun yet challenging ride down), swimming, hot tub, game room (w/ a pool table, foosball, Xbox and Wii) and across the street you can now rent paddleboards and paddleboats. We always enjoy off-roading in a rented jeep to drive up high in the mountains and get our feet in snow and taking a rafting trip down the Animas. You will not go wrong renting this condo. Mark is very responsive and, as a local, can help you should you need recommendations."

  • Increíble beautiful place and surroundings

"This place was wonderful. Is very pretty and well thought inside. However it's best features are the amazing views from all the windows. Is just amazing. We spent one night in the desk just watching the stars. It was the most relaxing and amazing experience and stay."
