  • 12 Trails Edge Lane #10 - Fantastic!

"Beautiful view! Great ski-in and out access! Very short walk to grocery store and free Gondola system. The property was nicely upscale and very comfortable. It was perfect!"

  • Great pre-Christmas ski trip

"Several years ago my family starting renting homes for our family vacations. Our family of 4 sometimes brings girlfriends and friends along, but this time it was just the four of us. So while the house was larger than needed it is a beautiful place in great condition... the best of any of the homes we have ever rented. The house is located on the Galloping Goose run and is probably 100 yds from that actual run ... it requires a little bit of poling on ski's to get to/from the run, but nothing too strenuous at all. Inside the home has a beautiful timber frame look that is very open. We had fun playing pool on the lowest level and enjoyed congregating in the den after a day of skiing. We ate out every night, but the home had the set up and all the pots/pans/outdoor grill etc. you'd ever want for a large meal at "home." The owner stores their car in the garage, leaving plenty of room for a single 4wd to park in the heated garage and turn around to exit the driveway. It would be challenging to have multiple cars at this residence in the snow .... the drive is steep enough that you don't want to back down it and there is not any room outside the garage to get another car out of the way. The wifi and "home office" area were great for me as I had at least 2 hours a day of keeping up my obligations to the working world. The TV's were the only area where our family's habits were much different from the owners ... at home we have many HD flat screens with all the DirecTV channels and this home had basic cable (I think) and standard definition TVs. For this time of year that was zero issue because our sports teams weren't playing, but it was something some renters might wish for more at certain times of year. This was our first trip to Telluride and it is one of the best, least crowded ski resorts we have ever been to. This home seems typical of the many beautiful large homes you see alongside the slopes on this mountain. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful place .... we hope to come back to it one day soon. The owner of the home also seems to be a very nice person who is very reasonable to interact with .... I don't see how anyone renting this home could come away disappointed."

  • Eureka in Telluride, CO. Just beautiful!

"4 couples stayed for a week of pure enjoyment in Telluride. Eureka is a beautiful house and was spotless when we all arrived. The owners have furnished the house with all the comforts of home and more. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck, overlooking an incredible view. The location is perfect, with the gondola just a short walk away."

  • Spectacular home in a spectacular setting!!

"We actually stayed here last Fall also, but for some reason our review didn't get onto the site. We had virtually the same satisfaction this year as last. The owner, Denny, was very helpful and because of our late arrival, had stocked the kitchen with some items for our next morning's breakfast. He lives on the property and obviously takes pride in the house. With all of the large windows, the mountain views while overlooking the golf course, are breathtaking. The large upper and lower wrap around deck areas allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the natural beauty (and the putting green carpet, with practice holes, was a novel idea). The entire house is thoughtfully laid out and I think could be enjoyed by a large group or small. At night, the large central chimney with multiple gas fireplaces gave the rooms a cozy feel. The kitchen included high end appliances, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, and large separate freezer and refrigerator. Everything we wanted, and more, was there and was clean. My wife and I slept in the master suite on the main floor, which had a King bed, an attached office space to do our work (good WIFI), vaulted ceilings, large flat screen TV, a view of Mount Wilson, huge walk in closet, steam shower, Jacuzzi style tub, and 2 toilet rooms. There were 2 other King Master Suites in the lower level and 2 bedrooms and a sleeping/lounging loft on the second floor. We loved the pool table in the game room. There was also another large (50' x 12' x 12') play room with a batting/driving cage and ping pong table. There was a hot tub outside but we didn't use it. There are outdoor tennis courts 100 yards away. Because the house faces South and has the tall ceilings, the sunlight steaming in the windows and the full length row of skylights, made it very bright and cheery. There is even a full sized tree growing up the center!! North facing log homes we have stayed in were dark and depressing. We used the free Dial-A-Ride shuttle service to pick us up and take us anywhere we wanted to go. It was very convenient for those evenings when we didn't want to drink and drive or to just make a quick stop at the grocery store. In the winter it goes right to the lifts. The Gondola ride over the mountain into downtown was also very convenient. Denny has lived in Telluride for a long time and was very interesting to talk to. He knew much about the area, and it was interesting to hear his story about the building of this house."
