  • Great Family Vacation Condo

"This is our 3rd year our two families of 4 have stayed at Mark's home-away-from-home at Purgatory Lodge. This condo has everything you need and want. There is so much room here, the 4 adults and 4 pre-teen and teenage boys have plenty of space to spread out and never feel cramped. The kids sleep in the bunk beds so the 4th room is used as an extra space for toys, luggage or piling on the fold out bed and watching a movie (which rarely happens because there's so much to do!). The kitchen is stocked with all the staples and more. We cooked all our dinners and enjoyed gathering around the 8 seat table for dinner then games. There's is no need for AC in the unit as all the windows open and cool the condo down to the point it gets chilly- even in July! There's plenty to do at the condo- zipline, alpine slide, ropes course, hiking, renting bikes (you can take your bike on the ski lift and have a fun yet challenging ride down), swimming, hot tub, game room (w/ a pool table, foosball, Xbox and Wii) and across the street you can now rent paddleboards and paddleboats. We always enjoy off-roading in a rented jeep to drive up high in the mountains and get our feet in snow and taking a rafting trip down the Animas. You will not go wrong renting this condo. Mark is very responsive and, as a local, can help you should you need recommendations."

  • Great week at the San Juan River Village/Wolf Creek townhouse

"We had a great week at this property! It was very clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, cooking utensils and basic cooking needs. ( Spices, oils, condiments etc.) The back yard was delightful with fire ring and plenty of wood for a camp fire to make smores. Pagosa Springs was easy to get to from this location for shopping and going to The Springs (mineral springs for soaking). There were many trailheads in this area for hiking in the National Forests.Wish we could have stayed longer and are seriously considering a return visit."

  • DMcCord

"We were a party of six for a long weekend of mountain biking ,hiking and outdoor enjoyment. The place was awesome! Totally suited our needs and with incredible views! There was an outside concert at the base and we had the best seats on our 3rd floor patio deck with great views and no hassle with the crowds. The place is centrally located to everything on the mountain and the free shuttle service to town. The price was very reasonable - especially for six people. We will definitely be back in the winter as it is the closest ski in - ski out on the mountain! Great place!"

  • Great time in a Great condo.

"A perfect condo for my son and I during our travels. Everything was there for us, and the location and view were great. The central common area with the hot tub and BBQ were quite close and made it easy to cook and relax. Highly recommended."
