  • Great house, plenty of space and close to everything.

"My family and I (9 in total) came to Telluride for a wedding, and wanted to find a place that we could all stay together. This house was exactly what we were looking for. There are plenty of bedrooms to accommodate a large group, and more importantly bathrooms. The main floor has a great open concept which allowed us to hang out as a group comfortable. It was also great to be so close to the gondola station and Mountain Village. Everything was within walking distance. What we probably enjoyed the most were the views. Wether you were hanging on the deck, eating breakfast, or taking a tub in the master bath, the views of the mountains were stunning. If you are coming to Telluride with a large group I would absolutely recommend this house. It has everything! Andrew Boston, MA"

  • Great Location and Relaxing Quaint Cabin

"My husband, I and 3 kids enjoyed our stay at the La Plata Cabin for our after Christmas vacation. The cabin suited our needs well, and had everything we needed. The owner made sure that our wood stove(which we loved) was going, plowed the drive for us, and checked in on us to be sure all was well. Upon our arrival the owner had left homemade cookies for us. It had snowed before our arrival, and snowed 2 to 3 days while we were there. The kids loved playing outside at the cabin in the snow. We enjoyed being close to the Hesperus Ski area, where we spent most of our time. The cabin was located between Durango and Cortez, which allowed for many shopping/dinning options. Also, Mancos was just down the road and appeared to have several options. We look forward to visiting Colorado in the future and hope to stay at this cabin again."

  • Great for families!

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. With 8 adults everyone had plenty of space and privacy. Having 3 full bathrooms was a huge plus. The kitchen was spacious enough for more than one cook to be on the kitchen. The kitchen table was perfect for our dinners and card games. We entertained my sister and her family that actually live in the same subdivision, for meals and games. Our group would then consist of 14. We never felt cramped. The back porch was a bonus through out the day; morning coffee with the beautiful view of the San Jaun mountains, extra storage for coolers, camping gear, and a perfect place to cool down from our long hikes and mountain climbs. We used the backyard for lawn games. We would return to this house in a heartbeat!"

  • Best Spring Break ever...

"Our family of 4 stayed at this unit for spring break, and found it to be perfect. It is very conveniently located, with easy access to the Double Cabin run, and the grocery store and Gondola are just across the street. But what made it really stand out were all the little extra's provided by the owners - it made us feel really at home! We certainly hope to go back."
