  • Fantastic

"We just stayed for a weekend and the house is great with being well stocked with extra bedding & kitchen supplies. Had a fantastic time, location is wonderful being close to all activities for young & old. Owners are available with text for any questions and were great to work with. Would definitely recommend for a great vacation."

  • Absolutely Gorgeous!!

"The pictures on line really attracted us to this property, but to be there was amazing! From the beautiful views out of every window and deck to the spacious living space and kitchen area was way better than imagined. This place has everything! We usually go camping and pack half of the kitchen and house so it was so nice to walk in to a completely furnished kitchen and cabinets. We had 11 people staying - 3 couples - five in our room with the loft, another had 4 with the two queens and sofa sleeper, and the other was a couple without kids so they had the master suite. They had family staying at a resort nearby, so a couple of evenings the 3 of them came for dinner. The kitchen was the perfect size to accommodate everyone eating, laughing and talking! The hot tub was a huge hit for the 5 kids ages 9-22. One night we roasted hotdogs and s'mores and enjoyed the meteor shower later that evening on the deck. The movie room downstairs is a great feature but where we come from its over 100 degrees in August so we wanted to spend as much time in the cool mountain air as possible. Because we were so close to everything and Colorado offers so many outdoor activities we spent a lot of time away from the cabin. We rented jeeps in Silverton and drove to Engineer Pass and the Alpine Loop, rode the train from Durango to Silverton, hiked in Ouray, played at the Purgatory Village, horseback riding and shopping. Wished we had had more time to relax, but we did enjoy breakfast and coffee out on the deck every morning. It's my daughters senior year so I took advantage of the beautiful mountain scene off the deck and the meadow with pond to capture some wonderful pictures to use for graduation! Thank you for helping make our week perfect - We definitely recommend staying at this cabin!"

  • doesn't get any better than this!!

"We stayed her with our family for Spring Break...our first time to Telluride. This is home is the absolute perfect location...Mountain Village right off the slopes. It was easy to get to the Gondola and convenient for all activities. The house itself was wonderful, with tons of room, wonderful amenities, and a fully stocked kitchen. It was the perfect house for our family and we would definitely come back!!"

  • Nice Place to Stay

"While this property has seen better days (especially the dishwasher and trash compartment in kitchen) it fit our needs for us and four grandchildren. They especially liked the indoor pool and hot tub. The location is in a ski area but be advised that while the directions we received stated it was 20 miles north of Durango it is actually 23 miles north of the City limits and 28 miles from downtown."
