  • Grateful Durango Friends Reunion

"We could not have found a better place to hold our reunion! Rented both houses for 5 days, Awesome 360 degree views. Large gathering spaces, the game room entertained the children, decks were the place to gather in the mornings & evenings. The houses were beautiful! I love the Red Cliff Guest House, we stayed in the Master and the view is incredible. I'm ready to take up residence at the Red Cliff House. John was great to work with. I still have a big could not have been better!"

  • Nederland home in the mountains

"We had a short two night stay at this home. When we first pulled up we were a little alarmed because the way the houses are organized on the small road made the whole set up look a little iffy. Our worries were for nothing as the home was quite nice inside. The downstairs was spacious and the set up was perfect for talking and dining, and the "kids" could play games in the couch/TV area without being in the middle of everything. The bedrooms were upstairs, along with a fancy bathroom with double shower heads in the enclosed shower. The master bedroom was HUGE and had great space with a small balcony off it. One of the bedrooms was pretty small, but the twin beds in it were comfortable, and it served its purpose. The highlight of the stay was seeing a moose in the driveway next door one of the evenings. Very exciting! There were a lot of instructions about food handling due to the bears that might wander through, but we did not see any bears. Darn! The house is in the tiny town of Nederland, which is about 8200 feet above sea level. There are four or five restaurants in this town, which is right in the middle of some spectacular scenery. The wind was fierce while we were there adding to the mountain feel of things. There is a carousel in town with all of the animals hand carved over the last 26 years by a Viet Nam veteran. It was fun to take a ride on the carousel and look at all the animals. Plus, it was only a dollar each, which is quite a bargain! We had a great stay in this house, and found the owners easy to work with. We would definitely consider staying there again if we're ever in the area. As a side note, it was too early in the year to ski, but the Eldora ski resort is just a short 15 or 20 minute drive up the mountain from the house."

  • Delightful Home

"This sweet Tudor style home painted in cheerful and tasteful colors is situated on a street with friendly but unobtrusive neighbors just around the corner from Boulder Creek and within walking distance to Pearl Street Mall. The home is quiet and quaint with a delightful porch to enjoy the greenery in the yard. Real baby white roses in one of the bedrooms was a nice added touch. Thanks to Cindy for an enjoyable stay over the Labor Day weekend!"

  • Comfortable, spacious mountain cabin

"We enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. We enjoyed using the gas grill and cooked a wonderful meal in your user-friendly kitchen. The lights in the kitchen are an issue which you should look into as they would turn off independently when they became hot. My husband is a general contractor and commented that he thought it might be a wiring issue. As for the lock issue, we did not have a problem with it during our stay. Thank you for opening your home to us. We would recommend you to anyone staying in the area. Lisa A. Martin"
