  • Wonderful views, wonderful hosts

"Came here in October for a kayak symposium. Several of us stayed in this abode but there is so much room, none of us really felt crowded. Getting to the third floor does require one climbing a narrow spiral staircase so top floor great for kids. There is also an elevator that will get you there and its worth getting to 2nd or third floors for the view of harbor. The hosts are great and very responsive - definitely would stay here again."

  • Fantastic Stay in Lordship, CT

"What a beautiful cottage right on the water! The architectural design of this place is something I have never seen before, just gorgeous and very well laid out. The place was so clean and neat when we arrived. I have been to many cottages in this area, and this is now my absolute favorite. Planning to go again next year! No clutter and a fully stocked kitchen & BBQ Grill that came in very handy. We stayed for the month of July and had beautiful breezes right off the ocean every day. There are amazing views from downstairs and upstairs in this home. The area is so quiet and family friendly, loved all the neighbors on this street. Nancy and Matt are so accommodating, and sweet! I will definitely rent from them again next summer!"

  • Away-from-it-all cottage with delightful grounds and access to historic towns

"We loved spending time at the cottage, which dates from the 18th century (I think), and has been in the owner's family for many generations. The back deck overlooks woods, a pond, and lawns with old fruit trees. Inside, the cottage is like a very elegant house in miniature -- and with real antiques. We stayed only for a long weekend, but the quiet of the place rejuvenated us and made us feel we had really been "away." Also, we really enjoyed the private tennis court, set amid trees and grass."

  • Best Berkshires Vacation Ever!

"Our family of 5 (3 children and 2 adults) from NYC enjoyed the most incredible 2 weeks at this lovely home in late August of this year. Spacious, sparkling clean, incredible views, landscaping with tropical flowers, a beautiful pool and chickens! A fabulous kitchen that was well stocked. Comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. We normally enjoy our 2 weeks in the country and then can't wait to return to the city - we could have definitely stayed at this house longer. Jesse and Ellie are spectacular hosts, easy to reach with questions, keeping the pool immaculate and even surprising us with a basket of freshly grown veggies from their own garden. Truly an idyllic getaway, we had been to Italy the year prior and the views from this house rivals the views from a Castle in Parma. Do not hesitate to book this house if it is available, you will love every minute of your stay."
