  • Family Time

"Our second stay at this special beach house! Low to mid 70's temps meant lots of time on the large screened in porch! The house was perfect for our family. Highlights: hot tub, boogie boarding, Grotto's Pizza, Grilling out fresh tuna, Scottish salmon, and Texas gulf shrimp (purchased at Big Fish Market), putt putt at Shell We Golf, rides at Funland, Dolles taffy and Thrasher's fries at the boardwalk, walking to and from boardwalk. Can't forget shopping at the outlets! We needed another week to do everything we had planned."

  • Relaxing

"We had a lovely week at the cottage. Most of our time was spent on the back deck. We loved using the kayaks. The home was clean and had sheets and towels. I would love to come back."

  • We had a lovely stay !!

"Let me start by saying that we had never been to Bethany Beach before. We were very pleasantly surprised both by the beach atmosphere and the home itself. The beach is family friendly and Fenwick state park is low stress if you go at off times of day even though we were in season. The home was very spacious for a town house and very well equipped. We had 9 people in my family and none of us felt crowded or put out. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the TVs were big and nice for the kids. The grill worked great and we really enjoyed sitting out on the back screened in porch. The only glitch we had was that the washing machine had a kind of electrical problem so it kept running but Steve called in the problem and a man came out and took care of it pretty quickly. Steve was very friendly and gracious and called to make sure that everything was ok when we checked arrived. All in all a really great experience!!"

  • Our Fourth Stay at Bethany Pines

"Like other reviewers, we are grandparents. We join our children and grandchildren annually at Bethany Pines and rent 2-3 houses. Trust me: There are advantages to having our own units to retreat to at the end of each day! Tom was very easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. His house differs from others we have rented in that 2 of the 3 bedrooms have queen size beds and the third room has a double and a fold out sleep sofa (the house we rented last year had a pair of twins in 2 of the 3 bedrooms.) Another plus is that this house is one of few in Bethany Pines with a fireplace - enhancing the decor and the mantle provides an out-of-reach surface to hide things from grandchildren. Bethany Pines is quiet and private - but an easy and invigorating walk to the beach and town. We are comfortable allowing the children to ride their bikes around the compound and the centrally-located pool is a much-enjoyed centerpiece of the development. The house is fully-equipped and it even had a pack-and-play. Tips: Don't hesitate to call Tom to report any maintenance issues during your stay; we made the mistake of waiting until we returned home to report a running toilet that could have been easily-remedied :(. Also, as with ANY rental house, bring your own SHARP knives from home if you intend to do any serious food prep. We would not hesitate to rent this house again."
