  • Classic Beach Experience for the whole family

"if you remember when going to the beach meant going to your beach cottage - screened in porches, beds with cotton quilts, mix and match cutlery and coffee cups, and nights spent playing cards and board games - if those are the memories that make you and your family smile - then rent this property!! 119 New Castle has amenities that of course you expect - central air, dishwashers, washer/dryer, several TV's - and in addition it has a charm that few properties in Rehoboth can match. Huge, shaded yard; two outdoor showers, and rooms that actually DO hold 23 people! (We didn't need the futon or the roll-away) It's a 10 minute stroll up to the center of town and a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach just beyond - so you can park your car and forget about it for the week. The house is older, but the fixtures are all modern and updated, and the owner has made sure that each of the rooms has the storage space you need. We rented this house so we could all be together for a family wedding - the keys were ready as promised, and the house move in ready. We discovered an air conditioner problem in the cottage at 5pm on Fri afternoon - by 8am on Sat the owner had a tech there and the problem was quickly resolved. I would happily recommend this home for any large family - or large group - looking for a place to reconnect and enjoy Rehoboth life."

  • Perfect place!

"This condo is perfect for an amazing vacation in Rehoboth. It is so close to everything. There was definitely a new mattress in the master bedroom this year."

  • Great communication, location, and amenities

"Communication: It was easy to communicate with the owner before and during our stay. He answered questions promptly and provided detailed move-in/move-out instructions. Location: close to beach (we walked there without shoes) and southern end of the boardwalk (no streets to cross en route). This house is walking distance from Rehoboth Avenue’s shops and restaurants. We didn't use our car once we parked it in the driveway, except for an initial grocery run along Rt. 1. Amenities: we enjoyed the outdoor shower, hot tub, and a larger-than-expected backyard with a fence. We also enjoyed the newer appliances, such as the Cuisinart coffee maker that could grind fresh beans or use coffee grounds and the high efficiency washer/dryer combo. Both were nicer than our appliances at home. Yet the house was family-friendly with movies, games, and books for young children. We gratefully used a wagon (found in the shed) to haul our stuff to the beach each day. This house's outdoor areas really expanded the living space. The back deck was large with a full-sized table and gas grill. We spent a lot of time in the screened-in front porch, which had ceiling fans and lights and ample seating. Plus there was another deck on the second floor with great views."
