  • Great Home! Great Location! - Our Third Stay!!

"This property is our home away from home when we go to Rehoboth Beach. We first rented here in 2011, then again in 2012 then again in 2016. Don't believe me, check out my other two reviews. It's a great property. The home is very modern with all of the amenities you need and above all, super clean! When staying here, it doesn't feel like your typical musty beach home, the home is elegeantly appointed with an upscale feel. The wireless network is new and strong enough for many devices on any floor. The TV's are connected to the latest Xfinity receivers with DVR's that have on-demand so that you can search for, record and pause your show or movie. The kids always had a blast in the loft, which also has a queen size bed. The junior suite in the basement has a large walk-in closet with a full bath, computer desk and direct access to the patio with a BBQ grill. The neighborhood is clean, quite and very pleasing, a great place to take an evening walk. The neighborhood pool is heated, stays open until 10pm and a 1 minute walk from the front door. The owner stocks the garage with everything you need; bikes, beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards. One evening we ate a bushel of crabs (check out The Crab House) on the screened porch, without a single bug bite! The main level television is hooked up to a surround sound system that can rock the house, a great place to entertain! The house is not on the beach, but your only a 5 minute drive to the boardwalk and it's not an issue at all. The house is right off of US1, so you are practically surrounded by restaurants, shopping and even waterparks (check out Midway or Jungle Jims). If you are going to the beach, I highly recommend downloading the ParkMobile app so that you can buy parking meter minutes via your phone, you won't need a bag of quarters anymore. Check out FunLand, the kids will love it! It's near impossible to think of one negative thing about our stay. The owner is AWESOME and will welcome you to the home within a couple of hours of arriving. The owner also checked in via text to make sure all was well. The entire experience was awesome. Look no further, this is the Rehoboth home for you - book now!!!"

  • Great home well furnished, much better than photos display.

"Just left your property thank you for a wonderful week. Lots of great furnishings much better than reflected in the photos. 10 minute walk to the beach crossing large coastal highway. While listed as a five bedroom realistically there are six bedrooms the sixth room having no privacy door. Home has four full bathrooms and one half bath. Balconies overlooking the pool, the pool was wonderful and well kept. Parking for four cars only. parking passes for two spaces delivered on Saturday. The four parking spaces consist of two designated spaces with parking passes, and one car parked in the garage while another car is parked in front of the garage. The six bedrooms consist of: first floor: One queen bedroom, one room with single bed with pull out, one shared full bathroom. Second floor: living room, kitchen, half bathroom. Third floor: two master suites with King beds and two full bathrooms connected to each room. Fourth floor: one bedroom with two single beds, one bedroom area with no door three single beds, one shared full bathroom."

  • Girls Getaway Weekend!

"We nine women decided to forego our annual mountain getaway and head to the beach instead (mainly because we didn't want to cook - lack of restaurants on the mountain meant we had to bring our own provisions). John was a complete doll to work with! He was extremely patient and accommodating. He was quick to respond to my million questions, both before and after our trip! The house was perfect for our needs! So many properties are set up for families with children (meaning lots of twin beds) but 306 Bayard has all queen beds and one king. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious enough to spread out our suitcases. Although there are two bedrooms on the main floor, there are several steps that have to be navigated to get there from either the side or the front entrances (a small consideration for guests with physical limitations). No problems with showers and getting ready to go out - plenty of hot water for everyone! The kitchen was well equipped - although we didn't really cook anything other than breakfast. We did bring all our own paper products, dish soaps, hand soaps and trash bags, but found most of this already there (probably left from previous tenants). The living room and sunroom were great places to relax and gossip. The dining room table was huge - it sat eight comfortably - perfect for board and card games! Upstairs there was a little sitting area - which we used the first day while the house was heating up (it was 30 degrees outside!) because it was the warmest place! Our only disappointment was discovering that the fireplace was for decorative purposes only. With the cold, a nice roaring fire would have been lovely. The house is in the perfect location - we were able to walk to all the little shops and restaurants just around the corner. We bundled up and explored! The house was close to everything but being just a couple of blocks from Rehoboth Ave meant it was quiet and peaceful. The outlets were a very short drive and we loved the tax free shopping! We are already planning our next visit and will absolutely choose to stay here again!"
