  • Excellent location, great house, responsive owners!

"We had 4 adults and 3 kids at the house and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is in a smaller, new development - very quiet, fantastic pool walking distance down the street. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with every dish/appliance you could need. Also, in the garage there were multiple boogie boards, skim boards, beach toys, and a beach cart (HUGELY helpful). Also, floaties for the pool. The location was perfect for us, with 3 kids (8, 6, 1). Quiet at night, easy access to pool, very short drive to beach (10 minutes - definitely recommend going a little north to the State Park beach), right by grocery stores, movie theater, outlet shopping. Also right now the street from Jungle Jim's waterpark (must do). The owners, Bradley & William, were a pleasure to work with. They answer emails quickly, and checking in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend this property if you're heading to Rehoboth. We would definitely come back."

  • Very comfortable and well located!

"We spent July 4th weekend at Allison's place in Dewey - it was perfect for our group of 8! The house was clean and modern and we made the most of the great back deck. When it wasn't overcast or rainy Ha! getting to beach was as simple as could be and we loved the close proximity to Dewey Beer Co, Starboard, and a great little coffee shop. Many thanks to Allison for making the whole experience pleasant and simple. I hope we can make it back next year!!"

  • The property was clean and in a nice neighborhood.

"We were only there for three nights so our stay was short but overall it was a nice place to stay. Prior to our arrival Barry was very accommodating in responding to our questions and was easy to get in touch with when we had questions. The property was a short driving distance from the Boardwalk and since we were there later in the season, there was no parking costs. The only issues we had was that the microwave did not work and we were told that Barry was aware of that but since it was a weekend he was not able to get it fixed. The only other complaint I would have is that we have not received our deposit back nor any communication about it."

  • Wonderful Family Vacation!

"Our family has visited Rehoboth Beach dozens of times in the past, but this was our first time staying at the Whaling Cottage. The whole family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had a really enjoyable week. We found the unit to be very clean & tidy and contained every appliance and kitchen item that we could possibly need. The unit is only 1/2 block from the beach and only a few streets away from all of the shops & restaurants. We parked our car and walked everywhere! After a long day at the beach, our family would wander around town and then have a nice dinner at one of the many local restaurants. In the evenings, my husband and I really enjoyed relaxing on the deck while our kids entertained themselves at Funland on the boardwalk. Cynthia & Don (and their daughters) were gracious hosts, and we enjoyed meeting all of them. It is clear that the owners take great pride in their properties. Cynthia even dropped off a bottle of wine for my husband & I to enjoy on the deck (so thoughtful!!). We absolutely intend to book this vacation property again. Thanks Cynthia & Don!"
