  • Great spot for a beach getaway

"We had to make last minute plans to attend a wedding. The owners allowed us to fudge our schedule a bit to fit in with the wedding schedule. The location is great - easy to get to all of the wedding events."

  • Great for our annual Girls Week at the Beach

"My girlfriends, sister, niece, daughter-in-law and granddaughter stayed at this delightful and well-appointed home for our annual "girls week at the beach." This is our 21st year for girls week, and this house was definitely the most organized, well-stocked house (especially the kitchen) that we have ever stayed in. The five bedrooms and three baths, plus powder room, were perfect for our needs. Our favorite feature was the screened in porch, where we had our coffee every morning, and the pool area, where we relaxed after a day at the beach. The pool and patio are very private. I would give five stars for the house itself. Only gave four overall because it was a little bit of a trek to the beach, and we have three retirees in our group who would have preferred to be closer. That being said, we all loved the house so much, we have already signed up for next year. The owners were very accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend this home."

  • Charming, Quiet, and Close to Everything

"Our family of 5 (myself, my husband, our 6-year-old and my parents) just returned from a wonderful stay at this cozy, welcoming townhome. The property was perfectly clean when we arrived, and the layout was perfect for us, as each bedroom has an adjoined full bath. Despite its small footprint, the townhouse was extremely well-appointed and the bedrooms were quite spacious. We had everything we needed and were pleased to find nice little extras like hand soap and hair dryers in the bathrooms, garbage bags and tin foil in the kitchen, and dryer sheets and an extra basket in the laundry closet. The view out the sliding door to the immaculately-clean pool was lovely, as was the landscaping in the courtyard area. The townhouse itself was very quiet, as we never heard the neighbors or each other from one bedroom to another (which is important when putting young children to bed before the adults!). In fact, we were surprised at how quiet the complex as a whole was - it's in a prime location across from a Walgreens, a liquor store and a crab house, but is set back in its own little utopia, so it doesn't feel at all as if it's right off Route 1. I made good use of one of the two bikes left out front since the center of Bethany is only about a 5-minute ride or a pleasant 15-minute walk down the side streets from the complex. The beach was only a 5-minute walk, which made it easy for us to spend the morning in the waves, lunchtime at the pool, and the afternoon back at the beach again. I will absolutely stay here again when we return to Bethany Beach. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Tom!"

  • Great!

"The setup of the bedrooms was ideal for our family. Loved the fenced yard, our 2 year old grandson could roam free! Not too terribly far from the beach. Very close to shopping malls. Glad for the 2 refrigerators. Kids loved the pool. A few problems (pool turned green from the hot weather) but it was resolved, lights didn't work in game room, shower stalls did not drain quickly. Owners nice to deal with. Overall it was fine."
