  • Fun for all!

"This was a very nice quiet place perfect for our family/dogs. Thank you for letting us stay here & we appreciated you allowing us to stay longer because nobody else booked it the weekend we departed..."

"Isle of Skye is a wonderful rental for a large family/extended family! This was our 2nd year and we've already reserved year 3. Great location, access to the beach (which is never crowded), Bethany, Fenwick and Rehoboth. The house is clean, well-equipped and has a lightness that is welcoming. Huge table for family meals and good-sized kitchen has additional seating at the island. Love the option of both a screened porch (with another table), deck and spacious living area. Everything is as they say it will be. Looking forward to summer 2017 for our extended family of 10!"

  • Great getaway well equipped!

"Stayed here for a birthday weekend getaway. Very nice well kept cottage in a beautiful area. Since it was the weekend of the April snow, we didn't explore the possibilities of walking to the beach but very clear directions were left in the house and it seemed like a quick walk. A short drive to center of town. Plenty of room for 4 adults to fit comfortably. I always use VRBO and have stayed in quite a few houses...I can honestly say this house had the best equipped kitchen of any I've ever been in! Unlike some houses where you have 15 crab hammers one margarita glass and 3 lobster pots but no frying pans! Not to mention the kitchen was huge and beautiful, I truly wish I could transport it to my house. I can't speak to any of the outdoors amenities as we didn't use them, but the location was great, very peacefully setting surrounded by trees, a great deck all around. Very clean and well stocked. Be aware that our one person who attempted to sleep on the couch bed was not at all comfortable, but overall a really nice affordable rental."

  • Perfect family beach vacation house

"We had never been to the Delmarva coast before, so we weren't sure what to expect in the way of accommodations, neighborhood, or beach quality. Fortunately, 21 Bridge Road gave us a great experience in all three! The house has central air and double paned windows, which was essential - there was an excessive heat advisory in place during our entire stay. Renting this house entitles you to use the private, lifeguarded Middlesex Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I've visited in the continental U.S. Since only residents (or renters) in the Middlesex Beach neighborhood are allowed to use it, the beach is never crowded - even on an August weekend. The house is an easy, three block walk to the beach, and is outfitted with beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, sand toys and a boogie board. If you're looking for a pub crawl or a jumping beach party scene, Middlesex Beach is probably not your best choice - it's laid-back, family-friendly, and it was pretty quiet the week we were there, so it suited our vacation style perfectly. The house is great for two or more families travelling together, as three of the four bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house by the patio (only the loft bedroom is connected with the living room and kitchen area). The owner is polite, responsive, and ready to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We are already planning our return next summer!"
