  • It was satisfactory

"Nice dog beach nearby. Home area was clean and kept up. Like the layout and location of house near canal. Having beach passes was a great perk. Having a garden house near the garage was nice to have to rinse off, but this is a vinyl house and it is not design for the kind of water pressure it sees 24/7 and should the hose burst, there is no way we can turn it off. There were some maintenance issues, i.e. shower head in master bathroom was not working properly. Same bathroom, the sink was partially clogged. Light over shower (used as nightlight) went out. Light in utility room went out. Ice maker was not working and you had to make your own. Basket in dishwasher allowed silverware to fall into bottom and therefore dishes did not get cleaned properly. Kayak lacked back support and gave me back pain and unable to use advertised bikes, because chains were rusted and could not be used. Outside shower stall was filled up and used as a storage utility. Would have preferred using a gas grill instead of charcoal. Would consider renting again if known above issues are resolved."

  • #1 Addy Rd was a WONDERFUL stay!

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at #1 Addy Rd! The home is beautiful, and we loved the setting among the shade of the trees at the end of the street, tucked away nicely from the hustle and bustle. Our two teen/pre-teen boys shared the loft and adored it. It gave them a nice spot to escape from the grown-ups in the evenings to watch TV and "hang out". The layout of the downstairs bedrooms is simply wonderful! Such a clever layout with the master in the front of the house having direct access to a toilet/sink, and the two bedrooms in the back of the house on the lower level also having their own toilet/sink. Then, all three share a shower in the middle. While the loft had its own full bathroom. Very nice and easy set up for various family members - provided nice privacy. Also LOVED the outdoor shower. PLENTY of bikes & beach chairs to share. The home and grounds are beautifully maintained. One of our family members noted that it was so nice because it felt like a mix of a beach vacation and a cabin-style vacation in the woods. Such a perfect combo! ALL of the bedrooms have direct access to their own deck. Plenty of games, book, and lovely art to enjoy in this home. NICE set-up downstairs with the open concept between the ample seating in the living room & dining room, while being able to talk to those cooking up something delicious in the small kitchen. Can't gush enough about this home!!! The pictures simply do not do it justice. The drive to the private beach of Middlesex was a short hop across Coastal Highway. Nice security, easy to park, and courteous staff at the beach. The best part is how very few folks are on the beach. So nice to sit with our family & not be rubbing elbows with the next family. Plenty of room to spread out. Lovely for all three generations that came along on our trip (parents, children, and grandparents). In addition to how lovely the stay was, the owners are simply marvelous to deal with. Kind, courteous, and promptly responding to any questions. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your home is lovely, and we appreciate you sharing it with us."

  • 5 Indian Street

"We have been coming back to 5 Indian Street for more than a decade. There is just no way you will not enjoy this house. It is in a perfect location, has a great layout (with fantastic great room 3 stories up), always clean, and features constant updates. The owners make every accommodation for their guests. In fact, you feel that you are not in a rental property, but borrowing the owners' house!"

  • Nice, Affordable, Convenient

"We stayed over the Thanksgiving holidays, and found the property to be convenient (5 min walk from beach, 10 min drive from Giant grocery, easy access from New York City and from points south). The house is pleasant and up to date, and we were able to enjoy the canal views from the warmth (and comfort) of the living room. There were also ample pots, pans, and dishes to allow us to do lots of Thanksgiving cooking, as well as easy grilling on the new outdoor grill. A great deal and an easy stay!"
