  • Great for families!

"My husband, 2-yr old daughter and I just returned from our trip to Lewes staying at this location. This was our first family beach trip and we had a wonderful time overall. There was one small hiccup the first night (technical difficulties w/ the front door key that was completely unpredictable and out of the owner's hands), but Faith and her husband went out of their way to "make it right" for us. They were very professional, trustworthy and just a pleasure to work with leading up to and during our stay. The space is PLENTY for a family of 3 - we had so much room and it felt like home (actually, larger than our condo back home, so we loved it). I enjoyed the large kitchen and being able to eat a couple meals at home a day - very convenient. The rooms were large and the wrap-around porch is charming for breakfast. It was also a wonderful perk to have everything you need for the beach right there in the storage unit provided for you - beach chairs, umbrellas, kids beach toys, etc. The location is pretty great, centrally located to everything - about 10 mins to Lewes Beach, 10 mins or so to the National Park and 10 mins to Rehobath. We had a great stay and highly recommend it."

  • quiet retreat at Dewey

"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and a safe haven in coastal Delaware, Snug Harbor is it. Nestled on Rehoboth Bay, but a short 2 blocks walk to the Ocean, Snug Harbor is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beach locales. The unit, while small, does provide a great location for walking into Rehoboth, taking in the great eats in Dewey, provides great access to Route 1 for shopping, and most importantly, you can watch the sun rise over the ocean and at night, watch the sun set on the bay. The spiral staircase to the upstairs is a bit narrow, but we managed to get our luggage up. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 down on the main level. Most importantly, the area is quiet from 11 pm to 8 am, so sleeping was no problem. We cooked meals in for part of the time since there were adequate kitchen appliances to create tasty meals. The screened porch was a great place to take in the bay and sit and have a leisurely meal or play a board game. Parking was assigned, so there was never a problem finding a spot. The pier is a few steps away and readily accessible. Owner was responsible and easy to deal with. All in all, a very relaxing 5 days."

  • Comfortable and Convenient to all the benefits of Bear Trap

"The condo was clean and the furnishing were comfortable. The golf was a simple walk, a few buildings, down the street. The Den was also located there and we had a fine meal there. The shuttle bus, main pool, fitness center and tennis courts were across the street less than a two minute walk. The condo had some books for reading and games for the family."

  • First experience with renting a condo

"Our family of 5 rented from June 4-11 and we had a great time! Before this, we had always stayed in hotels. Now that our kids are getting bigger we need more room. Sonya made us feel right at home! The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We loved the washer and dryer being right inside the condo. The neighbors were friendly and the grounds were very well maintained. We went to Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen State Park almost everyday. The beaches were clean and not crowded at all. In the evening we swam in the pool at the condo and relaxed on the screened in porch. It was so peaceful. We did go to the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach once. We parked at the bus terminal and rode the bus to the boardwalk. It was much easier than worrying about paying the meters every hour. We look forward to coming back to DE in the future and staying here again."
