  • Great house, perfect location

"This was a GREAT house! We had a reunion of a few families for a week in July, with children spanning from very young to tween/young teenagers. We had a blast! The house is a super short walk to the beach, and it's also just a short walk to restaurants and boardwalk, shops, etc. The living space was great for family game nights and mini dance parties for the kids. The lofted area was a princesses' lair and the side porch kept all of our beach things organized. Big enough to accommodate us all together as a group, but also enough spaces for smaller groups to do their own things. We will definitely look to visit this house again, thank you for sharing!"

  • quiet retreat at Dewey

"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and a safe haven in coastal Delaware, Snug Harbor is it. Nestled on Rehoboth Bay, but a short 2 blocks walk to the Ocean, Snug Harbor is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beach locales. The unit, while small, does provide a great location for walking into Rehoboth, taking in the great eats in Dewey, provides great access to Route 1 for shopping, and most importantly, you can watch the sun rise over the ocean and at night, watch the sun set on the bay. The spiral staircase to the upstairs is a bit narrow, but we managed to get our luggage up. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 down on the main level. Most importantly, the area is quiet from 11 pm to 8 am, so sleeping was no problem. We cooked meals in for part of the time since there were adequate kitchen appliances to create tasty meals. The screened porch was a great place to take in the bay and sit and have a leisurely meal or play a board game. Parking was assigned, so there was never a problem finding a spot. The pier is a few steps away and readily accessible. Owner was responsible and easy to deal with. All in all, a very relaxing 5 days."

  • beautiful oceanfront town home!

"Could not ask for a more peaceful and relaxing location. Two of the bedrooms face the ocean as well as having decks to sit and listen to the ocean. My 2 year old loved playing in the sand with all the provided beach toys, which she was able to do right off the screened in porch (where the adults were hanging out). You do have to drive to go to the grocery, and more restaurant options but if you want a peaceful and private location there is nothing better. We really enjoyed our stay at the Toone's timeout and hope to visit again for a longer stay. Thank you!"

  • Awesome!

"It is true, the pictures do not do this place justice. It is so beautiful and welcoming. When you first walk in all you can say is WOW! We had a wonderful week. Very spacious. My two granddaughters, ages 6 and 2, had plenty of room to play. The views are to die for! Spot on amenities . There is nothing that was overlooked. I especially want to give a shout out to John, the owner - so nice, easy and accommodating. Talks to you like he has known you all his life. Do not hesitate. Book this place and leave your worries behind!"
