  • Historic, charming and a great property.

"We had family in for a wedding and the property was all that the VRBO site says it is. A great classy older building , solidly built with execellent bedrooms, meeting rooms. The kitchen is fantastic as it is all commercial grade and well stocked with utinsils and serve ware. It was perfect for our needs. If I was visiting Washington DC with family or a group, I would use it again. While the VRBO site says parking space for one car, I do not recommend that guests use the space. We had a minivan and while we got it in the parking space, we had less than an inch on each side getting thru the gate and less than six inches front to back. Street parking is recommended if you think you need a car ( you will need a parking permit at $50 ) or use Uber, Taxi or Metro to get around"

  • Comfortable and Well-Located

"This is our fourth or fifth stay at the Art Gallery apartment in the H Street-Atlas district of Washington DC. As before, we always enjoy our visits here. The apartment is roomy and comfortable, cool in the summer and warm at Thanksgiving. The off-street parking made available by the owner is perfect for us, since we usually rent a small car from the airport to do errands in the D.C. area. Neighbors are very friendly. All of the utilities and electronics work well, and the location (a block from the Z Metro bus line stop) is great, the Z line goes all the way to the White House. There are also electric trolleys on H Street but we haven’t used them yet. Lots of great restaurants nearby."

  • Cozy house in a Great Neighborhood

"We (3 adults and 2 children) were fortunate enough to stay at this house for an extended July 4th weekend. The location is fantastic: a quiet upscale neighborhood, with plenty of parking (pass provided by the owner) and easy access to the Metro as well as local neighborhood amenities (Broad Branch Market and the Water Park at the local school were a big hit). The house is a bit old, but it is very clean and cozy, and it is well appointed (whether cooking or playing board games). And Maureen was a great host, she was warm and accommodating but not intrusive. We hope to be back some day. Thanks!"
