  • Small, perfect for 2.

"First off I gotta give a shout out to Kyle!! Seriously, best owner we've encountered yet. We got in later and didn't have all essential info for our parking pass, he brought it to us at 1130pm, he didn't have to but totally did. I had questions and he was quick to text back! The neighborhood was quaint, cute, and I felt 110% safe. Which is saying a lot from this smaller town girl! My only hang up was parking, kind of a joke... because seriously the bus and train stops aren't far and uber at most to the museums and monuments was 9$--no need for a car. I'm extremely glad we stayed here, we love DC and would stay here again!"

  • Cherry Festival 2017

"Good location (close to Shaw-Howard Metro) and clean home. :-) ps. wish that the master bed would have been better (way too soft a mattress)."

  • Outstanding customer service, perfect place for a large group!

"We cannot say enough great things about our experience at this conveniently located, well-appointed 5 bedroom brownstone just a few blocks from the Supreme Court and Library of Congress. The bus stop is just around the corner and there are lots of small stores and restaurants within a few minute walk of the place. We had a large group (8 adults and 3 kids, coming from a variety of locations) and there was ample room for everybody. The place has been nicely remodeled and is lovely. Bathrooms have fancy showers/jacuzzi tubs and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The entire house was immaculately clean (the manager is very attentive to making sure everything is perfect) and well-stocked with all the things you'll need for a stay (laundry, supplies, etc). Most notably are all the thoughtful touches that Peter arranged in terms of food and the kitchen. We've stayed at a lot of rental places over the years and have never had an owner pre-stock the kitchen so generously: a large variety of snacks, important basics (milk, eggs, butter, coffee/tea and coffee supplies) pasta, granola bars, mac and cheese, soup -- we were really amazed. One more thing: finding parking is really difficult in DC and one of our group unexpectedly chose to drive instead of taking the train. We were flustered in trying to figure out where she could keep her car and Peter went above and beyond in getting us a temporary parking permit from the DMV that allowed her to park in the neighborhood, and did so within a couple of hours of my text. Peter - thank you so much for all your attentiveness and communication during our trip, you made our experience fantastic!"

  • Awesome place to relax after a full day visiting monuments and museums!

"The property was perfect for our needs. Just a short stroll (about 4 or 5 blocks) to the closest Metro stop and from there we could take the train to the museums or out to the National Cathedral. The area around DuPont Circle has lots of places to eat, drink and relax and was full of energy the entire time we were there. Embassy Row is just around the corner and we had fun trying to identify the flags of all the embassies in the area as we stretched our legs. The property was easy to find, furnishings were very relaxing and comfortable, with lots of room for everyone to find their own space while they caught up on the days events or read a good book over a glass of wine. The style of the property is every bit as elegant as depicted in the pictures, but still very comfortable. Every appliance we needed was on hand, the Internet was easy to access, and the TV controls did not require an electrical engineering degree to operate. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely try to reserve the property again on our next trip to Washington DC!"
