  • We enjoyed our stay.

"We loved the character of the home and the quiet neighborhood. The water pressure was still an ongoing problem. We had plenty of space for our family. We found easy access to the Metro and groceries to be very handy. We did run out of space to put our recycle items. Parking in front of the home was very convenient. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the warm weather."

  • Quiet Christmas in the city

"This home was a respite from the busy city visit over Christmas week. The beautiful art and furnishings and garden and warmth of this house made it a calming place to return to after touring. Great location in a nice neighborhood and the garage was a big plus! The sunny kitchen was a great place to start the day with coffee. We walked to the movie theater, national cathedral for service and Thai restaurant, other times we drove to see national Christmas tree and national arboretum, uber was a great service to get to restaurants in downtown."

  • Overall the house was just as expected with awesome hosts!

"I stayed in this house with 10 other friends to celebrate my birthday weekend. It was awesome. The house was super spacious and none of us felt on top of each other. Lots of natural sunlight in the house and it was super clean. The back patio is really nice and a super win for spring/summer months. Host was extremely responsive and helpful with all the random questions that we had. If I'm ever in DC, This is definitely where I'll be looking to stay with a large group."

  • Perfect location for those without a car who wish to visit Capitol Hill

"For those who plan to visit the Capitol and museums along the Mall this location is wonderful. The house is about 3-4 blocks from the Eastern Market Metro (no need to rent a car if flying into Reagan National), 2 blocks from the Eastern Market (upscale delis and weekend farmers market) and only blocks from an assortment of good eateries including Le Pain Quotidien Capitol Hill, District Taco and more. We did not have time to try them all. Lincoln Park is a short 4 blocks away. The accommodation has WIFI, cable TV, full kitchen and bath. The bathroom door latch can stick if the door is shut completely and the latch mechanism needs to be lub'd or replaced. We would stay here again."
