Cozy one-story home with great pool in a quiet neighborhood

      5 of 5
I usually don't write reviews due to chronic lack of time, but I figured I'd do it this time. I'll be honest, at first I didn't know what to expect. However, after having spent 23 nights there, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a quiet, relaxing stay at a cozy home with a great pool. I personally think the pool is its biggest selling point. It is much deeper and bigger than other pools I've seen in general Orlando area. It does face south, so that's as good as it gets. One can certainly sun tan at almost any time of the day. The house itself isn't overly big, but it could certainly accommodate 2-3 families, depending on the number of children. Best of all, it's a single level home. There's no 2nd floor. In my humble opinion, as good as it gets. We've vacationed in two-story homes before, with master bedrooms on the 2nd floor. It gets real old and tiring real fast, climbing up and down steep stairs 50 times a day. It's my vacation, not a boot camp!!!! Internet is crazy fast. Certainly comes in handy if your phone has poor cell reception. Possible improvements: - Lack of lighting, especially the kitchen. I don't know why, but most of these homes have really poor lighting. I see no reason why skimp on it, especially in the age of super-bright, dimmable LED lights and cheap dimmer switches. A few extra light fixtures, bright dimmable LED lights and dimmer switches and the house will look 50% better and more appealing. A must do improvement, if you ask me. - Pool alarm is highly annoying, but I understand the reason why it's there. Really not sure what could be done about it. - One possible pool improvement would be switching it to salt water setup with solar heat panels. But, that would increase rental rates as well. - Lack of any gaming console or any type of entertainment for the guests, especially kids (there are a few board games, but good luck entertaining little ones with that for a longer period of time). Samsung Smart TVs do help and they also offer screen mirroring features. Great stuff if your phones/tablets support it. All in all, great house at a great location. As a matter of fact, we are planning to move to FL in next 15 years. We concluded we'd be more than happy with a similar single level house and south facing pool. We will certainly be back as long as the dates are available.

      Feels like home!

This was our first time renting this vacation home. Everything you need fora home away from home. It was well decorated and maintained and you can tell a lot of love went into this house. The huge south facing pool gets sun all day long, which is perfect! The Owners and management provide excellent service and ensured we were happy and the smallest of issues were sorted quickly and with no inconvenience to us. We absolutely would recommend this property.
