  • Paradise!

"Nothing like waking up in the morning and walking out to the end of the dock and just jumping right in (age 65!). I can still recall the cool silky feeling of sinking to the bottom and popping back up to the surface. The water is crystal clear and after living around salt water for the past 30 years, the smell and feel of it was amazing! We will have to come back to check out the surrounding area because there was no reason to leave the house, it had everything you could imagine or hope for. Definitely want to come back a million more times and hopefully buy something in the area! In the evening when the tubers stopped, the otters would entertain us with their crazy antics! I thought I lived in paradise in Naples but find I prefer Wood Duck Crossing!"

  • Fantastic Location

"We just spent 4 days and they were wonderful. We had three generations aging from 11 to 68 and everyone had a great time. The location on the river can not be beat. With all the kayaks and tubes that are available, we were in the water all day, everyday. We would paddle up to the head spring and then tube down and take out at the boat ramp next to KP Hole. A couple of us even did a drift dive and it was perfect. Our last day we kayaked from the house to Swampy's for lunch. (we dropped off shuttle vehicles earlier in the day). There is a nice sub-division where we could enjoy an early morning run and or walk. Sitting in the back yard next to the river was so peaceful and when the afternoon showers arrived we would sit under the carport. Teri is very responsive and a delight to work with. We have already booked an entire week for next summer and can hardly wait to go again."

  • Rainbow River Adventures 2016

"I have 2 sons, 13 and 16 years old. For vacation this year I wanted them to have an "adventure". I wanted them to be active and outside and really just enjoy some one on one time with them. Of course, I want all of this on a very tight budget. Mr. Renda's condo and the Rainbow Springs/Dunnellon area allowed this to happen. When we first drove up to the condo you could see that everything is very well taken care of. Everything was clean, well kept and beautiful. Then we entered the condo and it too was so very clean and well kept. It had more than enough space and a beautiful view. Everything we could need was so very close too. There is a Wal-Mart close by, Winn Dixie, Sonic for yummy milkshakes or Dunkin Donuts for delicious coffee. Cute restaurants all around and on the water. We went to Aquatic Wilderness Adventures to rent tubes and kayaks. The people there were so very nice and helpful. We also went to Angler's Resort to rent a boat for the day and again very nice people. The Rainbow River State Park was also very beautiful. So we stayed busy, had a great place to stay (with very friendly neighbors too by the way), good food and great memories. Mr. Renda was very kind and helpful and always responsive. I appreciate all he did for me and my family. Give it a try...I don't think you will be disappointed. Georgina Rivera and family"

  • Amazing river home

"Perfect birthday getaway for my husband and anniversary trip for my in laws. We enjoyed everything from the beautiful open country home on the river to sounds of wildlife and close proximity to rainbow River, withlachochee state trail , rolling acres of horse farms and the gulf. We had a wonderful experience. Loved kayaking from the back deck. Best bass fishing just minutes from the dock and plenty to see and do in this charming small town. Lisa made my in laws feel right at home and had fresh home made bread when they arrived. 5 stars. Definitely hoping to make it an annual trip!"
