  • Brilliant

"Fantastic lake view property. The apartment is completely self contained but it was good to know that the owners lived adjacent and were available to help if necessary. Meeting them was really nice and we had a chat several times although they were never intrusive - just friendly and this was very nice. The apartment was fully equipped and very comfortable. The view over the lake was quite beautiful and the seating outside overlooking it was wonderful as well as the terrace area outside the apartment which was private to the occupiers and a real bonus. The swimming pool was a good amenity as well as the owner's permission to use his barbecue. We had a wonderful stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough."

  • More like a 3.5 but 3 seems too harsh

"While this home certainly has some positive qualities (and I will list them in paragraph two), there also are some part truths in the description. The "secured" golf course community has no more security than locks on the home's doors. The home actually sits directly adjacent to a rather busy road with the barrier of a large shrub on that side. The lanai is HUGE. It is also terribly dirty and with one working light bulb about 15 feet off the ground. The furnishings in the lanai consisted of four plastic chairs that were quite dirty. The "grill" is a small metal propane cooktop on a terribly dirty metal table. This all makes the lanai mostly unusable and an unpleasant space. The landscape, while once possibly beautiful, is in need of much care. Each the kitchen sink and one of the master bathroom sinks dripped continuously. We had trouble accessing the WiFi. The owner said she would have someone call to help us about WiFi but we got no call. The positives are that Apopka was a nice community with many things for us to do and is easily accessible to other areas. The lot is huge. The owner was prompt in responding when setting up the stay and also while we were at the house. The house is quite large and all on one level and with a bit more attention to the details, it could be great."

  • Quaint, cozy, and relaxing home. Close to restaurants and Lake Eola park.

"Very comfortable home located within walking distance to many restaurants and park. Spent many evenings relaxing on the front porch. Also enjoyed walking around the lakes and quaint neighborhoods. The house is well equipped and feels like home away from home."

  • Great value for the Mount Dora Area

"Everything was available listed and in good condition. The location was only about 1 mile from everything, the neighborhood quiet and easy to move in and out of. Would recommend the home to any visitor to the area."
