  • perfect!

"This cottage is a lovely and spacious property, located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood within walking distance of Florida Southern College, in the heart of the Lakeland Historic District, with easy walking access to charming shops and restaurants. It is very comfortable, with all the amenities, including linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen, with plenty of bottled water provided! Karen is a very gracious and attentive hostess; she provided many helpful tips regarding shops and restaurants and was even ready to help me iron out some unforeseen "glitches" in my travel plans! The cottage was so peaceful and quiet and the location couldn't be better. I highly recommend it! Marcia P., Houston"

  • Glamping at its finest!

"I'd like to start by saying that communication with the owner is excellent. She was available for any question that we had about the property and gave excellent suggestions on what to do in the area. The tiny house is adorably eclectic. It has all of the conveniences of home...but in a smaller setting. Lake Marianna is a beautiful setting for a calm vacay away from home. Canoeing on the lake is so peaceful. Then take your wine and glasses out next to the fire pit for an evening under the stars and light waves crashing near you. Definitely a must for your bucket list! We had an enjoyable time and will definitely do it again!"

  • Comfortable, updated, and well kept

"My family and I originally booked this rental for 2 months but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay to over 11 weeks. Jim & Patty were always available and promptly responded when I needed to reach out to them. The home and furniture are in pristine condition. All your necessities are included with plenty of extras (high speed wireless internet, cable TV, patio & grill, etc). The community itself is very quiet and clean as there are maintenance workers on-site everyday to keep things in order. Publix is only about a mile down the road and there are even more stores and restaurants on Florida Ave. The Lakeland Town Center is about a 12 minute drive and you can get to downtown Lakeland in just about 15-20 minutes. If you want to venture out some more, Tampa and Orlando are both about 35-40 minutes away in either direction."

  • Thankful for a home away from home

"The home is beautiful!! The waterfall flowing by the pool is so relaxing and you feel like you are at your own spa. We fed 15 people for a Thanksgiving meal and there was plenty of room. Lots of kitchen space to cook. All of the people we worked with are so accommodating and kind. We hope to be back again next Thanksgiving. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was because the pool was not heating and we were there during a cold spell. The owners attempted to have it fixed but the parts were not going to arrive until after we left. One suggestion I would make would be to add a higher box spring in one of the upstairs queen beds. It was very difficult for my parents to get in and out of the bed."
