  • Beautiful villa in great location

"Just arrived home from a wonderful stay at villa serena. It had just had a makeover so was even better then we had expected. Located in a clean and quiet gated community close to attractions, restaurants and shops. The pool was fab we made use of it every morning/evening. Pool heat was not needed as was lovely to just cool down. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Communication with the owner was good and she was very helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return in the future."

  • Wonderful home and exceptional hosts

"Our group of 10 (2 families, with kids aged 3-10) recently returned from our visit to Orlando and our stay at Bill's home. It was exactly as described and somehow seemed to be even better. We spent 4 days at Disney but were able to get home mid-day all days to enjoy the pool, game room and clubhouse amenities. Cannot say enough about how welcoming, informative, responsive and accommodating Bill has been. I have rented more than 10 properties on VRBO and I have never had any host be as amazing as Bill and Donna. Great location for the parks-- truly 10 min away and very easy access to local grocery, etc. Could not have been happier. Thanks again!"

  • More like a 3.5 but 3 seems too harsh

"While this home certainly has some positive qualities (and I will list them in paragraph two), there also are some part truths in the description. The "secured" golf course community has no more security than locks on the home's doors. The home actually sits directly adjacent to a rather busy road with the barrier of a large shrub on that side. The lanai is HUGE. It is also terribly dirty and with one working light bulb about 15 feet off the ground. The furnishings in the lanai consisted of four plastic chairs that were quite dirty. The "grill" is a small metal propane cooktop on a terribly dirty metal table. This all makes the lanai mostly unusable and an unpleasant space. The landscape, while once possibly beautiful, is in need of much care. Each the kitchen sink and one of the master bathroom sinks dripped continuously. We had trouble accessing the WiFi. The owner said she would have someone call to help us about WiFi but we got no call. The positives are that Apopka was a nice community with many things for us to do and is easily accessible to other areas. The lot is huge. The owner was prompt in responding when setting up the stay and also while we were at the house. The house is quite large and all on one level and with a bit more attention to the details, it could be great."
