  • Best beautiful rental in Cape Canaveral!

"We stayed in this beautiful town house for a week. My sister-in-law and family rented the other side so we couldn't have been any closer to share this family vacation. Andrea has made sure her townhouse has everything you could possibly need. For out of town guests who are traveling by plane, you will find towels (bath and beach), sheets, soap, Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, a well stocked kitchen, unopened food left by previous renters, laundry detergent,... The house is beautiful - from the wide open family room with a huge couch and recliner facing a huge TV to the granite counter tops and seating for 9 and up to the 3 roomy bedrooms with ceilings fans (and a great balcony off the master in the front of the house) in each room to the three well stocked bathrooms... An outside shower and hose rinse off... tons of chairs, coolers, bags, bikes, toys, beach umbrellas,... The walk to the beach is 2 short blocks across quiet streets. Easy to come back to the house for lunch and dinner or even a nap in the afternoon and then head back for more surfing in the waves. The beach is great! Soft sand, warm water, my husband jogged the long 2+ miles to the lighthouse pier and saw sea turtles and a stingray. We did see dolphins once. Lots of sand crabs and fish. No crowds at all while we were there...a little over a mile walk to Cocoa Beach Pier... Views of the huge Cruise ships heading out every day... Note: go one street to the north to head back out to 1A and you'll come out at a stoplight, which is much easier to go left. to Just short of a mile to Dunkin Donuts, Publix Grocery Store, the Dollar General, mini-golf and 7-11 (not far at all and on our side of the street. The kids walked or biked to get many slurpies). Just beyond is Ron Jon's famous shop and a great frozen yogurt place. Walmart is 10 minutes away. It was a little over 15 minutes to the Kennedy Space Center (awesome!) and we even saw a rocket launch during our stay (which we watched from the beach. What a unique and cool experience). Orlando is 45 minutes away. We could not have had a better stay anywhere else. This is truly the best house in the best location in Cape Canaveral. We can't thank Andy enough for everything!!"

  • Everything you could want in a family vacation

"We stayed at the bungalow for our second year in a row and decided that we couldn't possibly have a better way to spend family vacation time than we do right here! Kids swim in warm private pool any chance they get, we love the ease of grocery getting and grilling in the back yard, it's only 1 1/2 blocks to best and least populated section of cocoa beach, and there are so many activities to do within one hour of the bungalow, if you get the itch to get out which you probably won't! We enjoyed surf lessons right down the block and went on the dolfun.com tour this year. Both were time well spent. We will definitely be returning again next year! Thanks again Sue and Dan for being so accommodating and arranging a place to park our giant RV while there!"

  • This rental meets all of our expectations and in fact is our second year renting.

"The photos in the listing are exactly what the rental looks like. There's plenty of room and it sleeps eight comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay this year and hope to be able to return next year. We had a problem with the garbage disposal and it couldn't be fixed so the repair person installed a brand new one. Then the dishwasher backed up (caused by the garbage disposer problem) but it was a quick fix and done the day we called. We had a problem with the HVAC and that took a little longer to figure out but it was done promptly and efficiently. We felt bad calling in the problems but we're very satisfied by the services done. We had some guests visit and they just loved all the space and the short walk to the beach. The only suggestion we have would be to upgrade the older model tv with a flat screen but to be honest we didn't watch much tv and tried to catch up on our reading. This property was very clean upon arrival and it has all kinds of beach equipment available to use. It's located very close to a Publix, Dunkin Donuts, and a small ice cream shop where they make their own ice cream onsite. One Italian restaurant close by is Papa Vito's and it has great pizzas and pasta meals and is very well liked by locals and visitors. I would highly recommend this property and as I mentioned we hope to return again next year."

  • Better than advertised!

"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon & are both in our mid-20's. The place was perfect! Like others have said the pictures do not do the place justice! From the moment you pull in the driveway you know that you are in your own secluded paradise. The house has great landscaping and a unique Spanish style architecture. You do have neighbors but with the way the lots are situated and with the vegetation in the back, you would never know as you never see anyone else. The view from the top deck is amazing. We moved the outside table up there and had multiple candle-lit dinners watching the waves crash as the sun set behind us. The new hot tub was great which also offers some views of the ocean. Inside It has a very nice open, airy feel with high ceilings with wood beams. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathrooms were also very nice. The beds were comfortable and had ample closet space. The area near the desk and the mirrors was weirdly a place we used every day for sunscreen application that worked out fantastically. One thing I will say is being in Florida and with the vegetation that is around the house you will see some wildlife! We saw a raccoon, lizards, a cat, and a giant turtle. Never were they close(except the lizards!) or an issue but they are there! Jason was fantastic and welcomed us with his awesome and cute little girls with a bottle of wine and some beautiful flowers. We've been to HH island, OBX, Destin, St. George Island and others but this place is special and is now our favorite vacation home and is definitely a place we will be coming back to, hopefully sooner rather than later!"
