  • Very clean and great view

"Overall the place was great, very clean and great views. But even though it was a vacation I feel I rented a condo in stead of a hotel because I wanted to be able to cook meals and not go out for every meal. Unfortunately I didn't feel the kitchen was well equipped to be able to cook meals. In addition we had quite a few family members staying in the same building and we shared dinners some nights and it made it difficult to do so. The pans to cook on stove didn't lay flat I had to stand holding them as I made breakfast so things didn't run all over. In addition we traveled from the north east and were disappointed that there were no beach towels available, and since we were gone for 2 weeks total we didn't want the extra weight in our suitcases."

  • Wonderful Owner

"Working with Etta was wonderful. The condo it's self is just as the pictures show it. My husband and I founds it very comfy. It was pretty and had the needed items in the unit My complaints were not with the owner or condo but the building itself. We should have known better than to go to Daytona Beach in March for a 'relaxing' seaside vacation. The college kids took over much of the building making it impossible to sit on our deck or the pool deck due to their noise and loud parties. Drinking isn't allowed on the beach so they stayed close to the building for their parties. The noise at times was so loud our sliding door shook from the vibration of it. I did complain one night to management about the noise in all the units sureounding us but they wanted me to determine which exact units it was from, with noise all around us that was a toss up. They DID follow up and the noise in the building improved for awhile. I also don't know if it was due to the kids or just being used but the ice machine and one washing machine remained broken during our visit. Parking also became an issue due to construction workers taking a large portion of the parking lot and fellow renters using multiple stalls. On occasions we had to park across the street. I would deal with Etta again but I wound avoid Daytona Inn Beach Reaort."

  • Wonderful experience! Would certainly recommend.

"The condo was very clean and spacious, exactly as described. We had everything we needed for our stay (comfortable beds, full kitchen, all the linens we needed for bath, beds, and beach). Having the washer and dryer was great too (saved us having to pack more clothes for our trip). The complex has indoor and outdoor pools, and we made use of both. You can walk right out to the beach from the pool area as well. The building was quiet and clean. The owner took care to make sure we had everything we needed (she really went above and beyond to accommodate us). Great experience! Much better than staying at a hotel. I would definitely recommend to others."

  • I want to move in.

"My wife, our son (14), our nephew (14) and I stayed here from 7/9 (check-in) - 7/16 (check-out). We all loved it. The Unit: Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was in good condition. Well, except for those things noted in the agreement like paper products, etc. There was enough toilet paper, soap, etc to get us through the first night which was nice. The view from this unit is incredible. I spent every night on the massive balcony watching the ocean, the people on the beach and later the people being launched into the night sky on the slingshot at the pier. Who needs TV when you have that view. Just FYI, TV is provided and there is a large selection of cable channels to watch. I happily only watched 15 minutes of TV during the whole stay. The condo is close enough to the pier that you can walk to it. I think it's 1.8 miles and makes for a nice beach walk. It is also far enough that all that pier craziness doesn't impact your time at the beach. The location is perfect. The Beach: It wasn't crowded, everybody had space to spread out on the beach. The beach in front of the condo is clean, almost totally shell free and has a gradual slope into the ocean. On average I'd say the waves were about 3 feet tall. That sounds small but there is a lot of power in a 3 foot wave. As the tide came in we got some 5 footers that made wave jumping a lot of fun. This is my favorite beach when compared to Virginia Beach, Myrtle, Marco Island, Ft. Walton or Clearwater. Waikiki beats out Daytona, but that's a lot longer drive. :-) Juan and Mercedes: Juan is an excellent communicator and we had no issues with checking in or out. He has the unit's keys in a lock box on the unit's front door. That's much better than the last place we stayed where the keys were in a lock box two miles from the unit. Everything was great and that's because they put the effort into making it great. I'd definitely stay here again and I'd seriously move in if Juan wanted to adopt a 42 year old from Ohio. In closing, Juan and Mercedes, thank you very much for opening your home to us and helping us to have a memorable and wonderful family vacation. I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about a vacation at the beach."
