  • I want to move in.

    "My wife, our son (14), our nephew (14) and I stayed here from 7/9 (check-in) - 7/16 (check-out). We all loved it. The Unit: Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was in good condition. Well, except for those things noted in the agreement like paper products, etc. There was enough toilet paper, soap, etc to get us through the first night which was nice. The view from this unit is incredible. I spent every night on the massive balcony watching the ocean, the people on the beach and later the people being launched into the night sky on the slingshot at the pier. Who needs TV when you have that view. Just FYI, TV is provided and there is a large selection of cable channels to watch. I happily only watched 15 minutes of TV during the whole stay. The condo is close enough to the pier that you can walk to it. I think it's 1.8 miles and makes for a nice beach walk. It is also far enough that all that pier craziness doesn't impact your time at the beach. The location is perfect. The Beach: It wasn't crowded, everybody had space to spread out on the beach. The beach in front of the condo is clean, almost totally shell free and has a gradual slope into the ocean. On average I'd say the waves were about 3 feet tall. That sounds small but there is a lot of power in a 3 foot wave. As the tide came in we got some 5 footers that made wave jumping a lot of fun. This is my favorite beach when compared to Virginia Beach, Myrtle, Marco Island, Ft. Walton or Clearwater. Waikiki beats out Daytona, but that's a lot longer drive. :-) Juan and Mercedes: Juan is an excellent communicator and we had no issues with checking in or out. He has the unit's keys in a lock box on the unit's front door. That's much better than the last place we stayed where the keys were in a lock box two miles from the unit. Everything was great and that's because they put the effort into making it great. I'd definitely stay here again and I'd seriously move in if Juan wanted to adopt a 42 year old from Ohio. In closing, Juan and Mercedes, thank you very much for opening your home to us and helping us to have a memorable and wonderful family vacation. I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about a vacation at the beach."

  • luxury condo rental

    "This luxury beachfront condominium is first class all the way. Has everything you could possibly imagine. Had a family reunion at this condominium and we had an outstanding time. The owner is a great guy and his staff of people are responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and first class all the way. Highly recommended !!"

  • My new favorite vacation accommodation!!

    "Absolutely loved 1 Fish 2 Fish for our business/vacation trip. Location was perfect for easy access to all destinations we had on our agenda. Property was clean and very well-maintained. The house was decorated nicely with plenty of room for the 3 adult women and our very small dogs. Everything you would need was present, from kitchen to linens, outdoor grill, pool and beach floats, bicycles, etc. The heated pool was certainly enjoyed. We spent our downtime sitting under the umbrella at the poolside early am and late pm. Fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. The owner, Mark was very helpful and considerate to help find another rental for us when the business portion of trip was extended. He was friendly and responded immediately, over and beyond expectations of the owner. I will definitely refer my friends and family to stay at 1 Fish 2 Fish. The restaurants nearby provided multiple menu options, our favorites were Aunt Catfish and Port Orange Steakhouse. Shopping options were tremendous. Cookie H."

  • Outstanding Corner Unit

    "Beautiful Unit. Corner Balcony (400 Sq. Ft.) facing the towards the NE (Main Pier). Also can see Halifax River and all the boats that are docked. Nice wide hallways (our daughter uses a wheelchair). Great kitchen with space. Spacious swimming pool. Laundry facilities were excellent. Building is very secure. Garage parking was outstanding. Thank you so much !"
