  • Beautiful Ocean Views and Breezes

"This condo is a gem! Beautifully appointed decor, fully outfitted kitchen, all the personal touches one would expect in a high end hotel, comfy mattress to sleep on while you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf. We sat on the balcony each morning drinking coffee, watching the golfers at the first tee, enjoying the breeze and the sounds and sights of the ocean waves crashing on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, (we will definitely stay longer next time). We especially appreciated the owner allowing our two small 4-legged family members to join us. This property is as advertised and more!! Looking forward to booking this property again."

  • Great beach house for family getaway

"We stayed at this property for a family vacation and to attend a wedding. The location was great - easy beach access across the highway. We liked the tiki hut, but it was not kid-friendly so we did not stay up there long. There were 5 adults and 1 child and we all had enough room. Nice that is was welcoming to pets! Plenty of towels for everyone. The dryer took a long time to dry. The kitchen was small but well-equipped. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Nice house and great value! Thanks!!!"

  • Early Christmas on the Beach

"The Beach/River house is positioned in an ideal location directly on the Atlantic Ocean with across the road frontage on the Indian River. Impressive to us was the rocky shoreline which is unusual in Florida, offering spectacular geyser like splashes from the crashing waves. On calm weather days, the water was close to Caribbean Blue, very clear, and breathtaking. The house is positioned close to the water's edge, which we LOVED. We sat in the covered ocean side porch rocking chairs for hours. Large sliding doors and screens opened the living area and master suite up to the porch so we never felt far from the wind and waves. One feature of the rental that should be more emphasized is the handicapped access via a ramp (at times steep) from the parking area along the south side of the house to the ocean side porch and through the sliding doors to the second level of the home. The 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living areas as well as an outside porch overlooking the riverside allow handicapped guests free movement. This is unique as other rentals in the area require navigating steps to reach the second and/or third floors. The riverside ground level of the home provides a den and bath which is useful when accessing the river amenities. Brick pavers provide excellent access to the Indian River and wide wooden steps down to the water are helpful entrances into kayaks or other water toys. The long dock with a picnic table at the end would be paradise to fishermen and boaters who want to bring a boat and has water and electricity available at the dock's end. Our party cooked most meals and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with sharp knives, cutting boards, Keurig coffee maker, blender, storage containers large and small, all types of cooking tools, pots, pans - probably the best equipped kitchen we've seen in our years of vacationing. The property was clean, well-maintained, comfortable, cozy and an easy place to relax. We did not require assistance from the owner. It was, however, the easiest to rent property we have ever encountered. Pay on VRBO and the owner emails the door code the week of your stay. Short, simple instructions are posted on the wall in the kitchen. Activities within walking distance are Bathtub Reef Beach and the House of Refuge. Just minutes away by car (less than 3 miles) along Hwy A1A is Elliott Museum, Publix, and a nature center for kids. We will return to this property - soon we hope!"
