  • Amazing heated pool

"Very nice, well stocked unit. Everything was just as in the pictures. Our favorite part was hanging out by the pool and looking over the ocean. The pool is beautiful! Easy access to the beach. The owner was great to work with and our deposit was returned promptly. Loved it!"

  • Spacious and clean with incredible views!

"This condo is spacious, very clean, highly organized, and right on the beach. It is perfectly laid out for beach viewing--the living room and master bedroom have full-wall glass windows/doors, so you can easily see and hear the ocean from those rooms all day. Master has two full length glass walls--one straight and one angled, enabling perfect view of the sunrise from the king sized bed or the two comfortable rocker-recliners in the room. On warmer mornings, the balcony also provided amazing views, but it was great to be able to enjoy the water, the sunrise, and the birds even when it was too cold to be outside first thing in the morning. The condo is well supplied with basic pantry items like salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, making it easy to prepare meals. Dishes, cups, silverware, utensils, colanders, pots and pans, etc. are all well-stocked and clearly labeled as to where they should be, so it's fairly easy to find everything. Dollar General food market is 4 miles away, and a Publix a few miles further north, so we were able to cook in almost every meal, keeping our food prices down and maximizing our time at the ocean. Bethune Park just across the street has a boardwalk overlooking the lagoon, making it easy to watch the sunset. We also put our kayaks in there--be aware of the tides as the lagoon is very shallow and there are oyster beds scattered throughout. A tennis court, basketball court, and well maintained bathrooms are also nice perks at this small park. A casual evening church service with a short homily and communion is also held every Sunday night at 5 (or 6 during the summer) on the beachside of Bethune Park--bring your own chair. We had another great kayaking experience at Canaveral National Seashore--plenty of birds, and we saw 3 or 4 dolphins on the hunt for food, and even a seagull trying to get the same fish a dolphin was hunting. Again, be tide aware. We had some bites from no-see-ums when we kayaked along the shore, but otherwise were basically bug free. However, at certain times of the year bug spray would be essential. Visitors center at the park has an informative video about the area and the park. Beth was very easy to work with, and gave us the most thorough information and instructions of any condo owner we've rented from. I certainly hope we can stay here again in the future."

  • Beyond our expectations!

"Just got back from the best place we ever stayed in Florida. "We" are grandparents, parents and 2 granddaughters, 17 and 13, and what made our two-week vacation so special was first, New Smyrna Beach. What a beach--everything to love in a beach: we walked for miles, the girls surfed and flew kites, the water was a comfortable temperature (even for Grammy), no streets to cross--just an easy stroll over the boardwalk (complete with shower for this group of townhomes) and some clean white sand to the water. So easy we did it several times a day! Of course there's shopping and restaurants! Second wonderful feature--we had a separate apartment on the main level, while the younger generations were upstairs in the large 2-bedroom unit with a great kitchen, beautiful master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a deck looking out over the ocean. And plenty of room for all six of us to eat, play games, read, and just rest up for the next ocean playtime. Oh, and did I mention the linens? Lovely, quality new linens including fluffy towels with absolutely no moldy smell, unlike other places we have stayed. And the air conditioning was just right--maintaining a comfortable temperature. Also, there's a pool for quiet relaxation. The owners obviously love and care for this home, as it had quality dishes, pans, knives, gas grill, new front-load washer--and beds and bedding. And everything was very clean--not everything was new, but we prefer clean with quality, charm and comfort. Both units were well stocked with everything from beach toys to books and fishing poles. We felt we were at home. Tom texted to make sure everything was all right--and it sure was! We hope we can return...hard to plan ahead with 3 generations, but this home and beach town are the best!"

  • Perfection! We would come back and stay again in a heartbeat.

"Loved the condo and the location! The décor is bright and modern but uncluttered and comfortable. It was wonderful to spend some quite time reflecting in peace, watching the waves while drinking coffee in the morning. The patio is perfect for morning sun salutations and the living room is perfect for sitting with a glass of wine and watching the sunset – the living room is nice and when you open the glass sliding door, perfect breeze just comes in! The wonderful owner was super easy to communicate with (even ordered snacks accompanied by a greeting card for our family). Perfection!"
