  • RETIRED

"Stayed at villa Jan - March 2016. I agree with all the previous comments and would recommend staying in the condo. The owners are friendly and helpful and responded quickly whenever we had a question. The villa is close to the beach and I enjoyed using the exercise room. New Smyrna is a great place with many restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the national seashore which is a couple of miles down the road and walks along the beach which so a short walk across the street. New Smyrna always has something going on over the weekends and it is only a short drive to Orlando and cape canaveral. The villa has everything you need and the landscaping is very tropical with the sound of birds in the morning along with an occasional visit by local wildlife. The neighbors are very friendly and I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did."

  • Worth every penny!

"The condo was beautiful and very clean. You could practically dump your coffee off the balcony into the ocean at high tide. As a family of 6, we were very comfortable for the week. Being late July, the beach in front of Chadham by the Sea was a popular spot but even so, it never felt overly congested. And if you walked 150 yards in either direction it was practically vacant. We saw dolphins moving up and down the coast every morning during our stay. We also rented kayaks at JB's Fish Camp across the street and were able spend time with several manatees in the lagoon just a stone's throw from the complex. Oh, and as luck would have it, we were taking a walk on the beach one morning and accidentally witnessed a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral! Pretty awesome stuff! Beth was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated the little extra's such as having paper products, trash bags, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent provided for us. It was nice not needing to pack those things or add them to the grocery list. One of my favorite amenities was the rocking chair in the master bedroom. It was SO comfortable and the perfect place for watching an air conditioned sunrise. The views from the condo are absolutely stunning! We spent an afternoon perusing the many quaint shops along Flagler Avenue and then treated ourselves to dinner at Norwood's Treehouse in NSB. What a unique restaurant! I honestly cannot remember that last time I've had food that good. We were all looking at each other in disbelief as we ate our dinner. Everyone's entrée was simply amazing. Our server wasn't so great but the food sure was! And the prices were very reasonable. 5 star food at 3 star prices. Can't beat that! To be completely fair to fellow travelers, I should mention the one and only thing that could've been better. The trash chute for the building is just across the hallway from the front door of the condo and it often smelled pretty bad on both the 1st and 2nd floor. We spent the majority of our time of the other side of the condo, at the pool, or at the beach though, so it wasn't a big deal and you can't smell it inside the condo. We wouldn't hesitate to rent from Beth again. Her property is everything she says it is. We had a wonderful week and would absolutely recommend this property and New Smyrna Beach in general to anyone who loves the ocean like we do!"

  • Best Family Vacation!

"We stayed in NSB the last two weeks of 2015. Our longest family vacation ever! But the time literally flew by. Starting with the house, everything was super clean and organized. There were plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was very well stocked, which we were super excited about because we love to cook. The house is decorated so nicely, from the colors to all of the beach signs. Our dogs had a blast too. They loved the dog beach and going for walks around town. NSB is super dog friendly! The town... The location of the house is centric to everything! I especially liked that we didn't need to leave the inlet to access supermarkets, nails and beauty shops, restaurants, anything really. We walked to Flagler Ave. every day. We especially enjoyed Nichols Coffee shop. I would go for a run or bike on the beach each morning and on my way back to the house I'd stop in for a Flagler Ave Latte and a homemade scone. Yum! Flagler Ave had several events going on during our stay too. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants. We did adventure on some sightseeing trips as well. We went to St Augustine and visited Fort Matanzas about 1 hour and 10 minutes away. We also visited the Ponce Inlet Light House about 25 minutes away. If you enjoy taking in the sights and learning about history these are two must do trips. Overall a very memorable family vacation. We are already making plans for a repeat trip!"
