  • Christmas Weekend Getaway

"We wanted a Xmas Weekend away from our routines and chose the Cottage at the Old Colorado Inn in Stuart Florida. It was a good decision for us. Our 13 year old Pug mix loved the enclosed patio area. The Cottage was a bit worn but worked out just fine. Historic Downtown Stuart is undergoing restoration and has a nice mix of shops and both casual and fine dining. The Atlantic beaches are 15 minutes away. The owner checked with us daily and was genuine about assuring our stay was a good one. Especially enjoyed finding breakfast on our porch each morning."

  • Ideal for a night or a month long stay.

"My wife and I stayed here for a month and found the apartment functional, comfortable and ideally located within walking distance to downtown Stuart. It was well appointed with the typical needs provided by a hotel or efficiency apartment. Thank you Michael, Jim and Kay"

  • Our Two Weeks in Paradise~

"We have rented this unit from Peter at least 5 times and we are NEVER disappointed. Everything is as stated and he is a pleasure to deal with. His unit is beautifully maintained, nicely equipped, conveniently located to nearby Downtown Stuart, Downtown Jensen Beach, etc... One of our favorite features is the comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom. You can view the magnificent sunrise without getting out of bed. Breathtaking! :-) We were lucky enough to witness nesting sea turtles @ dusk, emergent sea turtles going to sea for the first time, green sea turtles @ nearby Bathtub reef, enjoyed Jammin Jenson's (every Thursday, except Thanksgiving Day), Prawnbrokers, Luna's & Shuckers for some meals. Plus, the Blue Door coffee shop in downtown Stuart, a real treat. Mostly though, we keep returning to this condo and location because of Peter, it's safe, beautiful beach walks, surfing for my teenage daughter, and the general small to mid size Old Florida Town atmosphere. We love IRP!"

  • Great vacation for a family of 6

"The house is beautifully designed, and perfectly located. We caught fish on literally every cast on the river side and swam on the Atlantic side. Bath tub beach was a short walk and was perfect for the kids to snorkel. After spending the days in the water we would chose a restaurant then retire to the theatre room and enjoyed some family movies along with the NBA finals. Restaurants were close enough and we really enjoyed the atmosphere at Conchy Joe's and the service at Dolphin Bar. Every room in the house has a view and when you get tired of the sand you can switch over to the pool and hot tub. Tricia (the manager) was great to work with and was quick to reply to any questions we had. We loved the feeling of being away from the resort vacation and were perfectly content spending time at this house. The highlight of our trip was watching the amazing sea turtles crawl up the beach and lay eggs every evening. This house fits the needs of the entire family. If you like adventure, its perfect, if you like to relax and just listen to the waves crash, its perfect."
