"We had a wonderful Christmas and week at the Golden Coast Cottage thanks to your wonderful facilities and care. The entire family gathered and spent a week enjoying the cottage, the pool, the beach, and the neighboring community. Without a doubt, this will be a Christmas long remembered.
As requested the following is a list of our feed back, compiled as a list of suggestions as well as a list of things that made our stay memorable.
Positives (in no particular order):
Proximity - fabulous with the pool and beach access, close to town and shopping, easy to get to everything
Notebook - great reference for restaurants and things in the area
Communication - before our stay with what to bring, and your availability as questions arose
TV's - located in all the rooms and spaces gave people areas to congregate, and to have space on their own
Parking - plenty in the driveways
Beds - were very comfortable (even the bunks!)
Pool - fabulous, beautifully done, and in that it was heated we could use it every day.
Area around the pool - great seating, very inviting, and plenty of it. Wonderful use of the space.
Towels - plenty for use inside the cottage, and knowing ahead to bring towels for the beach and pool
Common areas - I was concerned with our big group that there would not be enough room in the common areas to
accommodate all of us, but I was pleasantly surprised that we never felt crowded. The dinning area (cards and games too),
kitchen area and bar, and the TV area worked well to disperse and give us appropriate areas for all our activities.
Deltas (things that could change to improve the experience)
1. We wanted to treat your lovely cottage as our home and keep it clean, but we could not find the tools to accomplish this task. Later we found a mop, but no bucket, a broom, but no dust pan. The vacuum in the closet did not work. Fortunately, we were close enough to home to get a vacuum and other equipment we needed to keep the areas clean. It would be more conducive to cleaning if those tools were apparently available.
2. There was not a recycling bin available, and no mention of taking the recycling to the community bins (found them on our last day there). Your notebook and sign on the wall both refereed to recycling collection days, but without a bin, we could not participate there. Again, fortunately, we were close enough to bring them home to our own bins.
3. You furnished lovely towels for inside the cottage, but there were no (continued)"
