"Wow, what a gem! We had a group of 5 who stayed here 1/2017 and it was GREAT. First the positives, as you will see from the picts the unit is very recently been renovated. The common areas are very large and spacious. The location is THE BEST!!!! The Master BR is VERY NICE and large. The other 2 bed rooms are very adequate! We saw the picts when we booked. HOWEVER...not a little concern/negative, we were a little surprised when we arrived that this is a 3 bedroom residential unit on top of retail business below (a bar, t-shirt shop, food and pizza and ice cream all in the block). When we drove up we thought OH NO!!! However, after staying there for 3 nights, I can say none of that was an issue. No smells, no noise, no issue! However, it was a bit of a shock. There are 2 entrances. One off the back (which shares an lockable external door with 1 other unit, which we were told is the owner, but we did not see him/her and do not think him/her was there). The other entrance (locks at this unit and the external door on the street...think metro!!!) also is shared with the adjoining unit (the owners) and goes down about 20 steps to the main street (directly across from the Hilton). As you can see from the picts the windows face out this main street (Mandalay) so there is quite a bit of foot and vehicle traffic...the location could not be better/more convenient for CWB, the unit is AWESOME, just do not be shocked with the fact that it is directly above the retail (and for some, could take away from the unit). However, I want to say, the bedrooms are on the back side, so it is very quiet. It was a great location and unit for our group; we would definitely stay that again!"
