  • Great location, great service

"This a great motel in a perfect location with amazing staff (Gayle & Rodney). I stayed for 4 nights with my family (3 & 5 yr old) and was made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Rooms are clean and provide a nice size kitchen. Gayle and Rodney are the nicest people you'll ever meet and are brilliant with the kids. there is plenty of beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, boggy boards, bucket & spades) free for all staying at the motel - including clean beach towels each day. the beach is just 100m away and the main nighttime area (Pier 60) is just 5mins stroll - where family movies are played on the big screen (open air) free for all to attend on Fri & Sat. the beach is beautiful and rated #1 in America by Trip Adviser. don't stay at the big hotels, they are over priced and soleless - the Bluewave Suites is just the perfect family holiday motel with everything you could ever want."

  • Great location.

"We have stayed here a couple of times it's a great place, the ONLY bad thing is if you get heel stompers or little kids running in the unit above it can be a little annoying. It was more about inconsiderate guests above than a problem with the unit though."

  • Wonderful stay!

"We were visiting in October for our fall break with my two daughters (age 3 and 1) and my mom and mother in law. We flew into PIE and Tampa (both easy access points) and arrived shortly to the condo. The condo was up a couple flights of stairs as previously mentioned in other comments, but we managed fine with two small kiddos. The pack n play, stroller, etc. were part of our reason for choosing this condo. The location was great, we were able to walk down to dinner in the more hustle and bustle easily. We did have an additional umbrella stroller which helped my 3 yr. old to keep up. This condo has a GORGEOUS view of the sunset from anywhere in the condo. My mom and MIL stayed in the two twins and I used the master to set up the pack n play and my 3 year old. :) It worked out great. The toys, beach chairs, and umbrella set us up for easy enjoyment daily and luckily the shed for storage is at the ground level so you aren't tracking it up and down daily. My girls loved the toys and we loved that the beach chairs, towels, etc. were already there and part of the rental. The beach is perfect for hanging out all day. The condo is so close you can run up and grab lunch and still enjoy the beach atmosphere from the balcony. The listing is very accurate and the owners are very easy to communicate with prior to the trip. Overall, we all agreed it was perfect for our trip and we hope to stay again soon!"

  • Great family vacation

"My family and I loved this place. We do not like commercialized locations and seek something a little different. This property was ideal for us. The inclusion of the pontoon boat was a big plus! The property is exactly as described in a nice little neighborhood that is very low key and quiet. It is not far from the main highway which has a lot of eating choices and a Publix. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed to cook and grill. The house has plenty of towels, blankets and extras linens. It was nice to have the crab traps, bikes and washer/dryer. The property manager is great to work with and very informative. The owner was quick to respond and very nice to work with. The pool and boat were great additions to this property and we thoroughly enjoyed both. The private beach is nice, but not really like being on the "beach" or ocean. It is more like a bay in my opinion. My family largely preferred the sandbar located a few miles out in the Gulf. It was absolutely gorgeous in the middle of the ocean. It is really like your own private island with amazing shells. We saw dolphins most days that we went as well. The water is very clear and calm at the sandbar and only about waist deep for a long ways out. The Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens and Clearwater Marine Aquarium (home of Winter from the movie Dolphin Tale) are all close and we enjoyed visiting all of these places.Tarpon Springs is just up the road and is a must see. Very neat Greek atmosphere, lots of little shops and the sponge docks were very interesting. We ate at Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs and it was delicious. We would definitely go back to this property and I would recommend this property to any family looking to get off the beaten path. The Baggett Family Tennessee"
