  • Great Condo

"A very well kept and clean condo, with a great view of the intercostal. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and like others, we did see dolphins swimming. There is no ocean view. We wound up eating most of our meals cooked in the kitchen which saved a lot of money for our party of six. A nice large dining room table made our meals comfortable. The master bath was huge with a garden tub and walk in shower. The entire unit was roomy enough so we we weren't at each other's throats. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes., and the pier about 20. In between there are many restaurants, shops, and bars to stop into. Traffic is an issue, so driving may want to be kept at a minimum. The unit has a lot of nice extra's such as a beach umbrella, beach toys, and a small buggy to carry them in. The building is in good shape and well kept. The pool is small and can be crowded. Fortunately you can see the pool from the balcony. My son did a lot of fishing from the waterfront."

  • Million dollar view!!!

"Myself and family loved this beach home and ocean view so much that no one wanted to leave to do anything else, the water was crystal clear perfect temperature and the waves were different every day, lets not forget about the daily dolphin sightings. We arrived late and found the home with lights and AC on, the home itself was clean and supplied with everything we needed. What was also nice was the home was located in a residential area quiet, with supermarket just a short drive anyway, so much better than hotel. The owner was very helpful and accommodating would definitely give 5 stars and would return. JP Massachusetts"

  • Amazing, relaxing vacation in pristine hotel and condo

"We had another fantastic vacation at the Sandpearl. The hotel is impressive and the amenities are plenty. Our children loved the pool, nightly movies, and easy access to the beach. We loved the poolside service and convenience of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo is in great condition. You get the best of both worlds-- condo prices and kitchen area with hotel amenities and service. The condo was very clean and felt "new". You have a great view of the ocean and bay. My only "complaint" is that it looks into a restaurant parking/dumpster area and was very loud one night. I knew this going in as we have stayed in another room on this side of the hotel before and it is NOT enough to sway me from staying here again. Treat yourself to the Sandpearl. It is an upscale and swanky hotel. The Alfriend condo makes it affordable to enjoy a true vacation in a premium resort."

  • Perfect Clearwater Beach Gem

"We had the pleasure of spending Memorial Day weekend in this lovely suite. Because it's located in the hotel, you get the great balance of really great service with room to spread out and not being disturbed. Our family of four (children 7 and 11) found this suite to be perfectly suited to us. We parked the car Friday when we got there and didn't get in the car again until Monday when we left. There are so many restaurants and fun things to do within walking distance. Our first day, we walked to breakfast at the Beach Shanty which has amazing food -- my son raved about their homemade coconut syrup! We walked to the marina and rented jetskis and toured around the beach and around toward Honeymoon Island. We ate lunch at the Bait House and walked back. We watched a wedding from our balcony and took in the beautiful sunset. Sunday, we spent nearly the whole day at the pool, which has some great food and beverages (highly recommend the mai tai!). There were a bunch of activities for the kids, including ping pong, slip and slide, and hoola hopping contests. They had ice cream, popsicles, etc. at the activities desk for the kids and it's all included in your stay! It was a holiday weekend, so getting chairs at the pool was a little of a challenge, but we managed to get some together and everyone staying at the resort was just so friendly and the service as well!! Lucky for us, the suite has beach stuff, so we grabbed the chairs and a boogie board and headed to the beach in the late afternoon on Sunday so the kids could jump waves and pick some shells. There's also buckets and things in there if you were to spend a more significant time at the beach. It's a quick walk downstairs. You can rent beach chairs/umbrellas, but they are a little far from the water in my opinion. It's better just to use what Sandra has in the room and pick your own spot! Dinner was at Clear Sky Beachside cafe. Holy moly it was delicious. Our children slept on the pull out couch and we took the bedroom. Everything was sooooo comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you might need to cook and enjoy the day. We just made pancakes one day. The only thing it doesn't have is coffee -- there are coffee makers. We just didn't bring coffee (how could we forget!!?). So, if that's important, either bring it, or you can grab coffee in the lobby at the Starbucks. Or walk to Dunkin Donuts which isn't that far either. We will definitely be back!!"
