  • Amazing, relaxing vacation in pristine hotel and condo

"We had another fantastic vacation at the Sandpearl. The hotel is impressive and the amenities are plenty. Our children loved the pool, nightly movies, and easy access to the beach. We loved the poolside service and convenience of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo is in great condition. You get the best of both worlds-- condo prices and kitchen area with hotel amenities and service. The condo was very clean and felt "new". You have a great view of the ocean and bay. My only "complaint" is that it looks into a restaurant parking/dumpster area and was very loud one night. I knew this going in as we have stayed in another room on this side of the hotel before and it is NOT enough to sway me from staying here again. Treat yourself to the Sandpearl. It is an upscale and swanky hotel. The Alfriend condo makes it affordable to enjoy a true vacation in a premium resort."

  • Family getaway

"I have relatives surrounding Clearwater and I visit annually. This time I wanted to bring my daughter and her two children, an 8 year old and a 5 month old. I was lucky to find the Lilies to accommodate all our needs. From the minute we arrived, I could see that this property was special. First off, my grandson jumped right in the pool. There was every kind of pool toy imaginable, even a shaded floater for the baby to kick around in. This June was extraordinarily hot in Florida so we hung around the house choosing from the endless supply of games, the library with a diverse selection of books, or videos. After dinners when the heat became more tolerable, we would take the paddle boards to the beach which is a short walk from the house. My daughter and her son had a wonderful time in the ocean while I let the waves wash up onto baby's toes. The beach is lovely and much more preferable to Clearwater Beach which is like a carnival each evening. We did partake in Pier 60's activities several evenings as well as the nearby Marina. We also took the kids on Captain Memo's Pirate Ship adventure. For those with younger kids, the pirate cruise offers an exciting, fun-filled hour and half cruise. Very interactive. The pool was tended to twice weekly, and my grandson even ran outside when we'd hear the ice cream truck. I gave to commend the property owners: this house was so well supplied with anything we could possibly need: first aid supplies, personal needs, every kitchen staple, utensils, beach towels, lotions, even a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. We had a few glitches that were taken care of immediately. While vacuuming, the machine shorted and sparked snd I was afraid to use it. I texted the woman whose name we'd been left and she was at the house first thing in the morning with another vacuum for us. Also, we forgot to take garage opener out of rental car and i received a text from same helpful woman asking if I knew where opener was. Yikes! But not a big deal. Wd mailed it off from the Tampa airport and we were notified the next day when it arrived. The landscaping surrounding this property is mature and lush! I would float in the pool relaxing and taking in the lush surroundings, very private and quiet. This was the perfect vacation spot . We had to go in June because of schedules but I would certainly try my best to go during more moderate weather. Three weeks wasn't enough for me. I could have stayed much longer."

  • SUNRISE TO SUNSET. FABULOUS

"So loved our time at Simona's beach condo. A fun fantastic time. The condo was very clean, very comfortable, very well furnished from the kitchen to the bedrooms to beach chairs and piles of beach towels. Fantastic location just south of Clearwater Beach on Sand Key away from the crowds. We walked across the street to Maggie Mae's a couple of times for breakfast and lunch...as well as Dunkin Donuts for great coffee and goodies. Every day the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular as were the stars at night. Several nights we spent time on the beach reading the night sky. Fun. The condo is minutes from Clearwater Marine Aquarium home of Winter, the star of the movie, Dolphin Tale. (Publix grocery store is right behind the aquarium...which I visited several times.) Our granddaughter stayed with us while she attended day camp at the aquarium...totally involved with her love of Winter....but soon found herself in love with the condo, the pool and the beach. I loved the place so much myself that I really didn't want to go...and wasn't careful when packing to leave. Once home I realized that I left several things behind.......which were found and Simona sent to me. Wonderful. Hope we have the opportunity to return!"
