  • Another great stay!

"This was our second year in a row my wife and I stayed at this peaceful cottage. As we drove thru the gate, it felt like we were coming home again. Darlene, Aaron & family really make you feel welcome. If you want to experience Old Florida, Floral City is it. Public boat launch is only 2 miles up the road if you want to fish or canoe. It is centrally located so there are lots of attractions within 1-3 hours. Also the Withlacoochee Bike Trail is in Floral City. We love it here and will definitely be coming back."

  • Barefoot beach resort - spring break 2016

"Prior to arrival owners were very accommodating in answering all questions we had. Arriving and departing all went very smoothly. We did not need to contact owners at all during our stay. Beautiful beach access directly across the street and intercoastal water way on back side of condo kept our teenage boyz very busy with fishing. However, we flew so we did have to go buy all our equipment from poles, lures, etc. The resort does offer this equipment to guests but NOT VRBO guests. Actually front desk people at resort pretty rude and unfriendly. It is a well kept, clean great resort despite. Would have been nice to have some fishing equipment in condo for people to use. Great, new bait shop down the road called Shark tackle. Highly recommend him on gulf rd - not far from condo. Bed small and very uncomfortable for all week so would certainly suggest a queen or king sized more high end bed. Condo very clean and did have cooler and chairs and extra blankets, pillows. The condo we rented was right by road. Very very noisy. You could hear cars all night long. It was also hard during the beautiful days not to be able to open any windowns in the condo. Esp coming from Wisconsin and anticipating fresh air. Overall a good place to stay. Great for families of teenagers. Thank you"

  • Beautiful sunsets, quiet beach, and sea turtles hatchlings!

"My husband and I were nothing but pleased with our recent stay at this condo unit on Treasure Island. It was just as described....amazing sunsets, private balcony, affordable rates. We were even treated to a couple of amazing lightning storms over the gulf. The room was clean and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beach is so close, but an added bonus for us was the wooden boardwalk right next to Island Inn that led right to the beach. My husband can walk only short distances and the boardwalk allowed us to use his wheelchair to transport him right to the beach's edge. Although I hoped to spot some dolphins from the beach, no luck there. However, one evening as I was strolling along the beach after sunset, I discovered several sea turtle hatchlings scurrying down the beach to the water's edge! And my husband caught sight of a sting ray leaping out of the water early one morning! The half-day fishing trip we booked with Hubbard's Marina was a delightful experience. The crew was friendly and helpful. Having a late lunch at the restaurant next to the marina, where they cooked our very own "catch of the day", was a fun way to end our fishing adventure. One of our favorite restaurants was Chill Restaurant and Bar in nearby St. Pete Beach were we enjoyed a delicious gourmet breakfast. We had a wonderful stay on Treasure Island Beach and hope to be able to come back again some day. We would not hesitate to rent this lovely condo again."
