  • A unique Gulf Coast getaway

"Our cottage was only steps away from Clearwater Beach and it was clean and roomy for my wife, myself and our two dogs. Despite its central location the neighborhood is quiet, and we got a kick our of watching everyone heading to the beach each evening for the glorious sunsets. With our schedule disrupted by Hurricane Matthew, we especially appreciated the flexibility Al, Karen and Gail provided in making sure we had a place to stay. A really special place to stay for anyone bored with the lodging chain setup."

  • Beautiful Condo!! Such a fun week!

"This condo is beautiful in pictures and even more so in person! The minute we walked in the front door and saw the spacious balcony and bay view, we knew it was going to be a great week! This condo is clean and open and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach towels and chairs. We saw dolphins from the balcony and one afternoon they were up close which was an amazing thing to see. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants and The Pier. Since no one was arriving on the day we left, Andrea let us check out later in the day giving us a little extra beach time! We had no issues and were thrilled with our stay and hope to return next year! Would definitely recommend this condo!"

  • Fantastic vacation - location, pool and great service (thank you Mona)

"We stayed at SB for the week of Thanksgiving and it made our vacation totally enjoyable. There were six of us, myself and my husband and our two daughters and two sons-in-law. The house is specious and even though the master bedroom does not have conventional privacy, the size of the house allowed us enough space to not feel cramped at all. We are very active people and ran the turkey trot on Tday, walked to Caledesi park several times, kayaked at Fort deSoto park and ran around the neighborhood several mornings. But in addition to all this activity, the pool was the highlight of the trip. I paid extra to heat the pool and it really paid off. We jumped in and soaked several times a day, an had drinks by the pool every evening. The back yard is very private with beautiful vegetation and ample shade. There is an outdoor dining table which we used exclusively for meals (even though the indoor dining table was set for 6). The location is far enough from the noise of clearwater beach but close enough so you can walk (about 25 minutes) to Starbucks and restaurants. The house is on a quiet street and is well equipped so we cooked and grilled (we grilled a fish, not a turkey) and the kitchen has so many coffee mugs and glasses that we hardly needed to use the dishwasher. But the highlight for me was the great service and attention that we received from the management. We arrived late on Saturday and had the door code set. I texted Mona, the check in manager, when we arrived to let her know we got in the house and got an immediate very friendly response. SHe also came by Monday to make sure we had everything and gave us some local recommendations. On Wednesday afternoon, we thought the pool was not heating well and I texted her. She called me back within minutes and the pool guy was at the house in less than an hour (and this is Thanksgiving eve... ). We did not miss a moment of soaking :) All in all this was a wonderful week Thank you,"
