  • Absolutely Perfect Vacation Rental!

"EVERYTHING WAS "As Advertised"! Awesome property, secluded. Never needed to heat the pool. The kids swam and Kayaked, the adults lounged. The house was extremely comfy. I took the boys out on the canoes and we found an awesome catfishing hole across from the Mansion about a mile from the house. We caught fish until we ran out of bait. Tampa was an hour and a half away so we hit the beach a few days. Check out the wildlife park (Awesome experience for both the adults and kids). Also the Tree Top Adventures in Crystal River (Zip Lines and Obstacle Courses). This property made our trip. We stayed put 3 days out of the week in Florida, Grilled out, swam and enjoyed our surroundings. Big Kitchen to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the fam, every pot, pan, cooking item you need. If you get a chance go down to the marina locally and enjoy the bar and food. Its always live and the people our great! Awesome Experience! We Will Be Back!"

  • Super Location Close to Water and Restaurants !

"Very happy with the location- we could walk to all our favorite places. Also close to the boat ramp and we parked the trailer back at the house, was a short walk back as the public lot was full due to fishing tournament- very convenient ! The mobile was super clean and spacious, high ceilings- very upscale. Will definitely be back !"

  • A very delightful place

"We stayed for a month and had a great time. The cottage is nicely decorated. The view over the water whether from inside , the nice patio or from the dock was fantastic We would give it a five star except fo a few drawbacks. There were no instuctions when we got there. The second bedroom has a nice little ensuite but is really too small for two persons. The linens are minimal but there is a nice washer and dryer. There was no gas grille, dvd player, stereo, or wine glasses. The cookware is minimal . If bringing a boat be aware there are underwater obstacles next to the dock, no cleats for tying up, and the boat lift is broken. One key reason for booking this place was the inclusion of a paddle boat. Alas there was no boat and Holly declined to compensate us so that we could rent one locally. Lots of parking though, a boat launch next door and a nice large screen TV."

  • Gorgeous home! Great location!

"This home is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you could need, and in a fabulous location that is within a quick 5-10 minute drive to several cute restaurants/bars plus easy access via boat to the gulf. The pictures really don't convey the spaciousness of this home! Our group of nine women enjoyed coffee, mimosas, wine, and great conversations on the breezy porch. The water views and sunsets were incredible! We were delighted to see several otters playing along the sea wall, along with manatees and dolphins casually swimming throughout the day. The kitchen was large enough for all of us to prepare meals together, and we loved being able to share meals and play games at the oversized table. We recommend The Freezer for shrimp and fish spread (get there early or you will be in long line to order) and The Shed for outdoor, live music and a cold drink. If you're looking to bring home a unique treasure from your vacation, check out Pepper Creek Pottery on W. Yulee Drive. There are a few marinas nearby if you need to store your boat for a longer stay or want to rent a pontoon boat for the day. We chose Riverhaven for its proximity to the house, and rented a pontoon boat for the afternoon for an affordable $140. If you cruise inland you'll dead end into an area of clear, shallow water where people anchor up, crank the music, and float around. There are a few bars along the water if you want to tie up and hop around, just don't get too close to the furry bandits on Monkey Island. We thank you again for sharing your amazing home with us - the "Scarfone Wine Goddesses" give this property 5+ stars!"
