  • Great condo, gorgeous beach, lackluster management

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay. Last year we stayed in the unit immediately next door (same building) and enjoyed that as well. The house is exceedingly well equipped (kitchen, towels, beach, etc.) Washer and dryer were amazing. Absolutely love the easy beach access and the quiet nature of the beach (vs busy areas elsewhere). Management company was lackluster -- nonresponsive on small and big issues (smoke alarm battery issue and major water main leak affecting entire building, causing non-existent water pressure - with no response for over 24 hours). Eventually everything was resolved. Management was in transition so perhaps this was the source of the problem. The furniture was a little run down, but this wasn't an issue for us (drawers in bedrooms broken, living room furniture covers are very worn). Everything else was truly fabulous. Despite the issues, we would return."

  • Harbourside at Marker 33 Indian Shores, Florida

"We stayed at Harbourside at Marker 33 in Indian Shores, FL #4401. Check in & out was simple as was the booking on VRBO. Angela was great at answering all my questions before our trip. We had a great time on our first visit to IS & loved the accommodations. The king bed in master bedroom was really comfy, the bathroom very large & the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary wares. Our teenage daughters stayed in the attached 2 room/bath room. They loved having their own queen beds & room for privacy. It was fun to wake up to the sun rising over the inter-coastal waters and deciding if we should hang at the beach or water park for the day. We ended up at the water park most of the time however the beach was only a 2 block walk away. Koodoos to the water park employees. They were very nice & helpful. Night walks on the beach were nice as were the dolphins we spotted one night right before the sun set (a great added vacation benefit). There are plenty of places to eat in the area but found our favorites and went back several times. Dinner at Crabby Bills was by far the best meal we had (long waits but well worth it). We also visited Jake's Cantina several times and enjoyed their great Mexican food (best value in town). We also tried Jimmy Guana's & Guppys & wasn't impressed with the food at all. Way too expensive & not that tasty. Atmosphere was nice tho at both places. Music at JG's was nice. We will definitely book again with VRBO."

  • Good deal, good location, great family spring break

"This is a nice three bedroom(ish) condo in a small, quiet complex, just two blocks (one down, one over) from the beach. It was perfect for our three small kids (8,6,4). Pro: The owners appear to have recently renovated most of the unit, adding nice decor and some fun touches (the bathroom beach mural is very well done). The location is fantastic - you're just a quick walk to the beach or several good restaurants and bars. There's a full kitchen, as well as a washer-dryer unit. The pool area is well-kept and fun for either lounging or playing. Wifi is wicked fast. There are two dedicated parking spots, if you need them. The owners are local, and were responsive when we had a couple minor issues. Minor Cons: This part of Indian Rocks Beach isn't heavy on sidewalks, so the walk to the beach or restaurants can be mildly anxious -- but overall, the traffic is light (and aware) enough that it's not really an issue. The third "bedroom" (pull-out couch with an inflatable mattress - actually very comfortable) is pretty spartan, and probably not much use if you're not sleeping in there. When we were there, the TV in the master bedroom was broken (I'm told it's now been replaced). Keep an eye on the fridge and microwave doors - they like to sneak open a crack. The unit was missing a couple things we expected, but WalMart is just a mile down the road. Overall, this is a nice condo and a great value. Indian Rocks Beach is a great family destination with beautiful, uncrowded beaches - it was much less crowded than some neighboring beaches, but never felt deserted or isolated. IRB, and this unit made for a great place for a family vacation."

  • A little piece of heaven

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was tastefully decorated and attention to making a guest feel welcome. The view from the balcony of the beach and surf was incredible, especially the exquisite sunsets and moonlight and stars on the water's surface. The location afforded us quick access to the beach as well as ability to walk to local restaurants. Bella Sol is a sparkling gem in Indian Rocks Beach."
