  • So worth returning!!

"We visited Beverly and Anthony's condo while visiting Indian Rocks Beach. As soon as we entered this condo we knew that we had found our "return again" destination. The views from the kitchen overlooking the gulf are breathtaking!! We loved the size of the condo and how we all had our space to relax without feeling cramped. I loved the lounge chair in the kitchen and having all the comforts of home...dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. having two patios to be able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine was extra special. My daughters who joined us for the week enjoyed having lots of private quiet spaces to study (they were on study week from university). My favourite feature of this condo is how close everything is...the pool is right in front of the condo and the beach right in front of the pool area. We could watch my daughters playing on the waves from one of the patios. The decor is very tropical and could possibly be seen as a little much for some people but I personally did not mind it...wish only that was more place in the kitchen cupboards for food etc. I honestly think that the owner Beverly could easily take a few things out of the cupboards to empty a few out for grocery items. We really enjoyed the viibe that Indian Rocks provide...we visited a few of the restaurants in the area and would say that our favourites were Haze Ice Cream and cafe Paris French Pastries but all of them that we tried were good. We cannot wait until our next year's trip to try several more. Indian Rocks is truly a real Floridian Beach Vacation..we Loved it!! I have to thank Beverly for being so accommodating and for making an extra effort to ensure that our stay was extra special. We will see you next year for sure."

  • Perfect Family vacation

"Our week spent at this condo was PERFECT for our whole family. We also rented the unit next door to accommodate our growing family. The hot tub and pool (nice and warm) were enjoyed by all, and being right on the beach is perfect for young children who need naps :) The kitchen was updated and beautiful, and had all the utensils and dishes we needed, plus some! Absolutely beautiful beach and sunsets! Plentiful beach toys available. Definitely a "must stay" for families with young children."

  • Truly exceptional property

"I spent a LOT of time looking for the right condo for our family vacation (May 2016) and I am 100% convinced I got it! AREA: The location is FABULOUS. We went to many of the other surrounding beaches and I honestly didn't see another I liked better than IRB. The condo is right across and down the street from many fun and quaint restaurants/cafes/ice cream shops. (Tip: there's an electronic crosswalk right outside the condo, nice if you have children.) We enjoyed getting ice cream at Tropical in the evening and walking home via the beach. There is a CVS down the street and a Publix 5 minutes away. The area is private and quiet and very relaxing--perfect. CONDO: The condo was impeccably clean and more updated than the photos show. The view is simply, utterly amazing and we took full advantage of the wall of windows and the wonderful deck. You are closer to the beach than the photos show. The best thing about the condo were stairs from the deck to the pool/beach. Not many properties had this, and it might seem like a minor detail, but it was 100% worth it to be able to go from the deck to the beach whenever you wanted to. Really gave it that special "beach house feeling." The pool area was awesome and the beach chairs were perfect. Landscaping was impeccable and the flowers were just lovely (what are those yellow flowers by the stairs?) There's an outdoor shower station that was handy, too. Plenty of beach towels, two beach umbrellas, and lots of toys for the kids. We took full advantage of the grill for relaxed dinners. The condo is nicely stocked. There's a reverse-osmosis system in the kitchen sink for drinking water; lots of brooms for sand; plenty of nice kitchen equipment; cleaning supplies; and nice toiletries and extras like sunscreen. Not that you want to cook and clean while on vacation, but it made it feel like home. One strange thing, though, was that there was no toilet paper, paper towels, or dish soap when we got there--an oversight, no big deal to buy our own, but strange to lack these basics. Also strange was the malfunctioning washer (there was a janky "trick" to get it to work right)--this needs to be replaced or permanently fixed. These things did not detract from our stay. OWNER: Joy is, well, a JOY to work with. Totally prompt, cheerful, and entirely professional. A total dream. We would stay again in a heartbeat and are recommending it to all our friends and family. Thank you, Joy, for making our trip unforgettable!"

  • Fantastic cottage, fantastic location

"This is a very well-appointed, charming cottage, and the location is perfect. The beach is a short walk from the front deck, which by the way is expansive and has a sun shade that is quite handy in the afternoon. The cottage faces west to the Gulf, so the water views and sunsets are amazing. Binoculars are a must for watching ospreys, pelicans, terns, herons and skimmers at work. In the water we saw dolphins galore as well as manatees and even a mammoth sea turtle heading back to the water after laying her eggs. A great experience -- we hope to do it again."
