  • Truly exceptional property

"I spent a LOT of time looking for the right condo for our family vacation (May 2016) and I am 100% convinced I got it! AREA: The location is FABULOUS. We went to many of the other surrounding beaches and I honestly didn't see another I liked better than IRB. The condo is right across and down the street from many fun and quaint restaurants/cafes/ice cream shops. (Tip: there's an electronic crosswalk right outside the condo, nice if you have children.) We enjoyed getting ice cream at Tropical in the evening and walking home via the beach. There is a CVS down the street and a Publix 5 minutes away. The area is private and quiet and very relaxing--perfect. CONDO: The condo was impeccably clean and more updated than the photos show. The view is simply, utterly amazing and we took full advantage of the wall of windows and the wonderful deck. You are closer to the beach than the photos show. The best thing about the condo were stairs from the deck to the pool/beach. Not many properties had this, and it might seem like a minor detail, but it was 100% worth it to be able to go from the deck to the beach whenever you wanted to. Really gave it that special "beach house feeling." The pool area was awesome and the beach chairs were perfect. Landscaping was impeccable and the flowers were just lovely (what are those yellow flowers by the stairs?) There's an outdoor shower station that was handy, too. Plenty of beach towels, two beach umbrellas, and lots of toys for the kids. We took full advantage of the grill for relaxed dinners. The condo is nicely stocked. There's a reverse-osmosis system in the kitchen sink for drinking water; lots of brooms for sand; plenty of nice kitchen equipment; cleaning supplies; and nice toiletries and extras like sunscreen. Not that you want to cook and clean while on vacation, but it made it feel like home. One strange thing, though, was that there was no toilet paper, paper towels, or dish soap when we got there--an oversight, no big deal to buy our own, but strange to lack these basics. Also strange was the malfunctioning washer (there was a janky "trick" to get it to work right)--this needs to be replaced or permanently fixed. These things did not detract from our stay. OWNER: Joy is, well, a JOY to work with. Totally prompt, cheerful, and entirely professional. A total dream. We would stay again in a heartbeat and are recommending it to all our friends and family. Thank you, Joy, for making our trip unforgettable!"

  • Perfect family getaway!

"We absolutely loved this unit at Fiddler on the Beach! We traveled with our 2 kids (6 and 11) and they didn't want to leave. Indian Rocks Beach is just a few steps away and the unit was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and for the beach and pool (toys, chairs, umbrellas, towels, drying rack). We loved the layout of the unit with two floors. The bedrooms upstairs are big and airy and have a great view on both sides. The unit felt like a corner unit in that it was tucked away behind palm trees and not directly over the pool - the balcony felt very private and it was quiet. The palm trees right outside the balcony afforded a perfect view of the beach in the morning and at sunset (what beautiful sunsets)! The unit is just a few minutes walk to a CVS for anything we may have forgotten and under 2 miles away from the local Publix grocery store to stock up on food. We were here for the 4th of July and it was so fun to see the fireworks all along the beach. We could even see them from the comfort of our balcony and bedroom window throughout the night. The shower on the first floor was perfect so we could push the kids into the shower from the beach without trekking sand into the unit. We visited Legoland while we were there and Winter and Hope at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. We also frequented many of the ice-cream and coffee shops along the road and fed the baby gators at the local putt-putt course. It truly was the best beach vacation we've had and the unit really was perfect!"

  • Excellent location and view!

"Leslie was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The condo was in a great location, within walking distance of several great restaurants, an ice-cream shop, a donut shop, kayak rental and a little shopping. There was a nice walk to a nature preserve about a mile away. The beach was very nice and the view amazing. Parking was under the building and out of the sun! Leslie accommodated our dog and there was a small park very close for use to walk to for potty time - but watch out for the black snake! This part of Sand Key is narrow so we rented kayaks and easily went from the gulf to the inter-coastal to experience both. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is parts of the interior of the condo are a bit worn - but the place was very clean."

  • J & J, Chattanooga, TN

"We loved our stay at Tropical Breezes. The location is great and the condo is perfect. The complex is small which makes it quiet and peaceful and other guests were very friendly. Patios were so wonderful and we spent a lot of our time there when we weren't walking the very short path to the beach. Wonderful time and we will definitely stay here again. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating."
