            Recent Pipers III Reviews

            Fantastic family vacation!

            5 of 5
This beautiful condo had all the amenities we could have wished for including a laundry center. It is set on a very private beach with all of the resort type of activity far in the distance. Access to a storage locker with a tent and chairs made staying out on the beach very comfortable. Shelling, swimming, and watching the dolphins made for an unforgettable getaway!

Ask yourselves, “why haven’t we stayed here yet?”

It was a unanimous family vote, this unit, along with the Piper III property, is our new favorite condo (we’ve stayed at a number of properties from the Florida Keys up to Clearwater). It has most, if not everything, that you’ll need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation on the Gulf. We even had a chance to meet one of the owners, Dale, and spoke with her about how much we loved her unit. Our April 2017 vacation included two adults and two 12-year-old girls. The girls immediately took over the upper level loft leaving the rear master suite overlooking Gulf Blvd and the intercostal waterway to mom and dad. I was a little concerned that traffic noise may disturb our sleep. No worries, we slept soundly and didn’t notice any outside noises. The photos don’t due the condo justice, particularly the one showing the large front windows. We discovered that they slide completely open. We loved being able to walk out onto the balcony unencumbered by them. When it’s not hot just open the rear slider and a cool breeze runs through the condo. The kitchen was already stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay. There was even a fair amount of condiments, cooking spices, coffee and filters, and even pancake mixes and syrup. My wife also like the desk under the stairs and made it her makeshift work desk planning our various excursions. The two-story Piper III property also has plenty to offer: stairs only, no lengthy waits for the elevators; no nearby public beach access which means no visitors squatting in front of the property; a large storage room with individuals lockers containing chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and etc; a gas grill to cook dinner watching the sunset on the Gulf; covered parking; and walking distance to many of our favorite restaurants, ice cream, and shops. If you make it down here check out: the Kooky Coconut (love their Cuban sandwiches), Aloha To Go (Hawaiian Style BBQ), Bay 1 Ice Cream, Original Pizza, Haze Ice Cream, Lulu’s Oyster Bar & Tap House, Lighthouse Donuts, Villa Gallace, and believe it or not, Publix has great fried chicken, donuts, and desserts too.
