  • Great, updated condo

"The condo was as the pictures showed. Very clean and fully stocked (beach stuff, kitchen utensils, linens, etc.). The owner was very responsive and helpful the few times we had to contact her. My favorite thing was being able to look out at the ocean - even when it was raining, it was still a beautiful view. I would say that the building itself is a bit dated, but I think that's being worked on (the inside of one of the 2 elevators was fully re-done during our 2 week stay)."

  • Nice and Relaxing!

"Very nice condo with most everything you would need. Great location and view of the Gulf. Pool was warm and inviting, property management were nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Went to John's Pass and saw some other local sites as well. Take a walk to the bird sanctuary too!"

  • Great condo, just as described and pictured

"Communication with the owner was perfect and very professional. No problems with the rental and everything was just as described and pictured. The property was very relaxed as it was perhaps 25-50% full when we visited. Pool was cleaned daily, chairs arranged each evening. Property and condo were very clean. We saw stingrays in the surf and daily sightings of dolphins making their way through. Kids were able to practice their snorkeling in the pool prior to the Gulf. The pool was a nice break from the surf and most of the kids in the condo were seen using both. The fishing wasn't so good but it didn't keep people from trying. Two sea turtles found the beach to be an acceptable place to lay eggs while we were there and were marked by the daily turtle patrol We were able to walk across the street to rent a boat for the day and took a trip up to Caladesi Island and down to Johns Pass. Crabby Bills restaurant was our favorite go-to restaurant both for atmosphere and food. The furniture was acceptable and normal beach condo quality. Even with A/C on, we could hear the surf and waves while we slept. The property was nice enough and had enough amenities that we didn't look at emails or watch TV the whole week, and that was a first for my family. While the kids were catching up on their sleep, we drank coffee on the porch and watched people and the surf below. All in all a great property. Good location away from the busy areas with everything you need nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to friends and would certainly rent again. Thanks for sharing your second home with us."

  • 5 star cleanliness, comfort, location, amenities!

"What a lovely condo. Squeaky clean upon arrival! Beautifully updated and decorated throughout. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. Loved the soft close cabinetry in the kitchen! The slide door on the balcony was easy to glide open and closed. AC worked perfectly - though would have loved if an outdoor AC came with the unit to take to the beach ;) *surprise * Florida in July is hot! Excellent water pressure in showers, all plumbing worked perfectly. Appreciated the flat screen TVs throughout. You can rent cabana chairs/umbrellas from for $125/wk - but reserve in advance. The TOY CLOSET on the balcony has tons of chairs and an umbrella if you don't mind carrying them to and fro. Closet also has blow up toys, bait bucket, and we left a small crabbing net behin . In the evenings you can take a flashlight, net , and a bucket down and wade in the water to about knee deep and catch blue crab. Supplies we bought for a week: Laundry pods (HE ONLY ), paper towel, plates, plastic ware, toilet paper, shampoo/cond, body soap and whatever food/drinks we wanted. Cleaning supplies are all included Best meal we had was home cooked. We went to keywestshrimpcompany.Com at 215 150th Ave in Madeira and bought red grouper, shimp, and scallops fresh off the boats. Definitely buy their key lime seasoning. We went fishing off Redington pier, which was very expensive and it is surrounded by rocks. We lost 8 hooks in an hour and if you rent the rods, it's $3 each for a ready rig and hook. Pier 60 in Clearwater is expensive too, but you aren't getting caught on rocks. You can also just rent rods at Redington Bait And Tackle about $20/day and find yourown little spot to fish from. If you want to SUP, oaddlebaord, or HobieCar, chexk out groupon for Sand Key power sports. $40/ 2 hr for the Hobie. Can't say enough good things about this beautifully decorated unit with prime view. Great place to be on 4th of July - but this unit won't be available because we are going to rebook this week in thus unit every year from now on. Carole, thanks for providing such a great condo for rental."
