  • Loved this property. Plenty of room for everyone and very quiet area

"This was our first family vacation and loved the property. The condo was beautiful and had everything to make our stay very comfortable. The beach was beautiful and not crowded so we could sit back enjoy. The area was great and very quiet and peaceful but close enough to attractions, shops and restaurants that you didn't have to drive very far for anything. Thank you for letting us stay in your home away from home. The many memories we created there will never be forgotten."

  • Perfect for us!

"My family (wife, daughter 17, and 2 dogs of about 40 lbs each) stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The description and pictures from the listing are a good representation of the unit, though it's even better in person (I was a rock star in my family for finding this place!) For us, this was perfect: great views of the intracoastal, wonderful balcony, nice pier, large and well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, good bathrooms, and living areas. The garage was a bonus surprise, with a lot of play toys to use (beach toys, beach chairs, fishing gear, etc). The location is great; off the road so we couldn't hear road traffic, little boat noise, we felt very safe in the location and whole complex in general, and there are plenty of things to do both north and south along the beach road. Communication with the owner was great (all that we needed to know and not too much), the codes to get in were set up just right so we didn't need to check in with some management office that was only open certain times of the day (great because we got delayed and showed up at 1am), and we received our deposit back within the 2 weeks after our stay (just as the owner said we would). The area was large enough that we had about 13 others over for dinner one night, and we easily managed that between the dining area, living area, and outdoor balcony, though there is limited parking for guests. If you or your dogs have issues going up stairs, you need to look somewhere else. This will certainly be the first place I look at next time we go back....... as long as the rest of you haven't booked it - which was the only reason I didn't want to write this review! :) For dog owners: you will need to talk to Bruce about your pets before he approves you, but this is not a big deal; he's very nice and easy about this (he just needs to make sure the condo rules are followed with pet size). There is a decent size yard next to the pier but the dogs have to be on leash (Bruce made us away of this before); if having to keep your dogs on leash every time they wanted/needed to go outside and down the stairs, and back up the stairs, etc is a problem for you (all the time), you may want to look elsewhere. Also dogs are not allowed (leash or not) on this entire strip of beach. So not many good places for long dog walks. I really doubt we would have found anything else on the beach island that could have been better for dogs, but I just wanted you to be aware of this."

  • Great unit, great complex, great owner.

"My family of five had a fantastic time in this condo. Initially I was a bit concerned about staying in a larger complex (60 units instead of the 4 unit ones that we have rented in the past) but now I don't know what I was worried about. This was by far the quietest condo we have stayed in and there was just enough people to chat with around the pool, which was full at times but never over crowded. The beach in front of this condo is amazing! It has the most gradual slope and when its low tide you can wade out to a really cool sandbar. Of the five condos we have rented in the area this was by far the cleanest and most well kept. The owner, Marci, is friendly and super easy to work with. The location is great, centered between Clearwater and Madeira Beach. If you want to parasail or jet ski, John's Pass in Madeira is a great choice, less crowded and less expensive than Clearwater. There are lots of great restaurants just a short drive from the condo: Light House Donuts, Crabby Bill's, PJ's, and The Pub are a must for us. Honestly, I can't say enough about this property, we loved it and plan to go back next summer."

  • Great Condo! Close to Beach - Peaceful, Quiet

"My family and I were looking for a quiet, laid back vacation week, and this condo was perfect. I'm a pretty picky person and I found this property to be very comfortable. It's spacious, nicely renovated, quiet, and has beautiful water views. The balcony is a good size and has views of the sunset. There is a pool area with gas grills, boat dock, tennis courts, and putting green. The beach is just a short walk across the street. The owner was very nice and helpful, and the management realty company also provided great service. We will definitely be returning for another vacation! We found the location in general to be a great spot; it's a peaceful little beach town, just 15 minutes drive from all the action in Clearwater Beach."
